  1. There most defiantly is a list of the wash and fold allowable items. It is the wash and fold form that you fill out indicating how many items on each allowable category. Socks, underwear, shorts, t shirts, PJ, swim suits (men’s swimsuits as a women’s suit will not survive) and I may be forgetting a category. The benefit is for wash and fold service, not true laundry service. m
  2. The test that is accepted by Royal Caribbean, is also accepted by Bermuda. We sailed to Bermuda in late May, and while it was the fourth day of our cruise and our third stop, we were not required to get retested two days prior to arrival. That restriction, originally told to us by the Bermuda government, was changed once we were on board. The rapid antigen test is fine. If the health travel authorization is still in place, be sure to apply and pay for that 30 days before your cruise. m
  3. The updated information is only the whirlpool, inside the spa. There are two whirlpools in the solarium not far from the spa. The saunas and steam are still available complimentary. Classes are complementary or fee-based, but the fee-based are higher than $12.
  4. There is a sauna, steam, and showers in the men’s locker room as well. No need to purchase a day pass, it is complementary. There are plenty of whirlpools as well, just not inside the spa. The two in the solarium are quite close to the spa. The information about the classes is also outdated, and while they offer a variety of classes (Some complementary, some for a fee) they are higher than $12 m
  5. Diamond guests get four drinks per day, value up to $13, to be used any time and just about any place. Diamond plus get five drinks with the same restrictions. The drinks can be alcoholic or not. The program is quite generous and is generally considered a nice benefit m
  6. The process seems quite cumbersome and would be better if you could know of a denial more quickly than just shortly before sale date. I do take exception to a few of your comments. You mentioned you were diamond and sailed in a suite. Your Crown and Anchor status with Royal Caribbean or your cabin accommodations should have no bearing on a medical exemption decision. It would be sad if these two areas swayed a decision in any way. That would give an unfair advantage to many passengers. Best wishes to your family and I hope that you will be able to eventually take your vacation. m
  7. Those photographs and description are incorrect/out dated. . They were from when the ship was originally built, and had a beautiful large whirlpool in the spa area. The whirlpool has been removed and that area is now used for fitness classes. The sauna and steam are currently available m
  8. Mariner has complementary sauna, steam and showers in the ladies locker room. You do not have to book a spa package to use any of those facilities There is no whirlpool in the spa area, but there are several whirlpools located on the pool deck and in the solarium.
  9. There are beautiful cabanas on Barefoot Beach, some of them are over the water (on rocks- Not floating) and some are on the beach. A couple days prior to your cruise, you will receive an email from the concierge. At , that point, you can inquire about a cabana if you want your JS traveling companions to have access to barefoot beach, you will need to book a cabana for them. Otherwise, they will not have access to the area. You cannot “buy“ access. Your Diamond status is worthless when it comes to barefoot beach. The only C&A status that gets onto barefoot Beach is pinnacle. The beach next-door to barefoot Beach, Nelly’s beach is a very nice beach if you all want to stay together and don’t want to rent a cabana. Enjoy. m
  10. Seems to be the same as the type of hotel hairdryers that are fixed to a wall. M
  11. Topnole - I answered the internet comment but deleted as others had responded. For those who get 3 amenities , only one is provided for shorter cruises. Maybe that was it.
  12. about 2" in diameter. Best bet might be to join a thread of a currently sailing harmony cruise. Perhaps someone can help you . Have never seen a nozzle adapter on any dryer on any ship. M
  13. Compensation for what? Many were diagnosed one they returned home. M
  14. Q What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19 after my cruise? A If you or a member of your travelling party tests positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days following your cruise, please contact our post cruise customer service team. You should also inform your local health agency.
  15. I believe there is a link on the RCC website to report post cruise covid. Haven't seen such a link on the airline site. Several from a recent cruise contacted RCCL with positive test results. M
  16. Sorry that I you don’t feel well. Many on various cruises have reported a positive case after a cruise. Lots of cases everywhere, including cruise ships. m
  17. Matt has NO affiliation with Royal Caribbean. It is an unnoticeable blog. If you scroll down far enough on his site, you will see that information. Sort of hidden, but there. His experience is just that, “His experience” and may be different from others. m
  18. We've seen ship sponsored religious services mostly during major holidays ( of various faiths) . There are self (passenger) led services, with the cruise line offering space, books and other necessary items. M
  19. Sad that such an easy fix needed the resolutions department. Should be so easy to add a new amenity. What a waste of your and their time. The phone agents are trained to book cruises. Unfortunately, they are not trained to resolve other simple issues. M
  20. Thanks for posting the letter. Normally when an item is unavailable, and a substitution is made, new items are somewhat equal. Not with this issue. The wine I had previously ordered was worth $18 retail ( total wine) and the substituted wine is under $8 ( total wine). M
  21. The ship YOU selected does not offer special dining for suites. You should not have been disappointed about that. M
  22. I wonder that as well. Seems like it should, but we always leave extra on the table. m
  23. Seems you can get off in the morning with general deportation and wait in the terminal until boarding begins. Once you commit to the turnaround process, you’re pretty much stuck with that. I’ve gotten off a few times, but last time was the first I’ve gotten off after General boarding has begun m
  24. Thanks - I had an In-Transit pass, the problem was general boarding had started and the long security Iines. Even the suite/Pinnace/Key security line was long and slow. I was hoping the folks in from of me with 3 kids, two strollers, two carry ons, soda, water etc would see me and let me go before them, but no. (I never asked). Once I got in the terminal, of course I did not need to check in, and I was able to find a shorter line to get back on. Agents allowing folks on board seemed perplexed that I had a sea pass card to scan. Last time I did this, I was able to get off just before the B2B group, and was back in the terminal while the B2B were still waiting to reboard. They let me back in the B2B group to get on board. EASY M
