I am also Elite due to having Diamond status on Royal Caribbean and will be sailing with a friend who does not have status. I know that I can share my included drinks with her on Royal, but how would this work on Celebrity? Neither of us is a big drinker.

And this is probably why they changed the rule to one per adult. Whenever people try to scam the system, and even boast about it on public forums, eventually the powers that be wise up.

I live about 35 miles from LGA. Drove there one day in 45 minutes. Next day it took 2-1/2 hours. You just never know (which is why I avoid going there at all costs).

Definitely. Even bottled water or a fancy coffee. For me, I don’t drink juices, soda or coffee and have no problem with tap water so the 4 alcoholic drinks per day are just fine.

No, that’s a dog breed. The cat is a Sphinx. Surprisingly, they are not hyper allergic.

Can't add passenger, I'm about to cry.

So very happy for you. Hopefully everyone has learned a valuable lesson from your experience. I’ll never forget a situation some years ago - father decided to not book his 16 month old in advance to avoid shelling out the deposit money, figuring he could be added closer to sailing date. Yup, lifeboat capacity was full and he was unable to add the child. His wife was hysterical, especially since they had no one to leave the baby with and still take the cruise. -
Does the custodial parent need..

There’s a young widow who posts frequently on the family boards. She often sails with her twins and always carries her late husband’s death certificate even though she has passports for the kids. Sometimes they ask and sometimes they don’t but much better safe than sorry. -
Status Match Question - Will this work?
gerif replied to blueslily's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It’s been a while but we had been Captains Club members on Celebrity with maybe three sailings before becoming Diamond with Royal. Within a week we received an email from Celebrity welcoming us as Elite members so apparently they communicated pretty quickly. -
Unfortunately, this is correct. The question came up several years ago when someone was going through a divorce they had high status while spouse had only cruised once but was still able to keep the status.

Sounds like an urban myth to me.

As I see it (although I totally agree that it was a shoddy thing to do), while an offer was made the OP did not accept that offer and, therefore, no contract oral or otherwise was made. As the saying goes, ya snooze ya lose.

I remember bringing a small bag of cookies from the marketplace in I think St. John. Never occurred to me that it wasn’t allowed but no one said a word going through security to get back on the ship.

Yes and yes.

They can carry on 12 bottles/cans per cabin of soft drinks.

They can be very helpful and are not included in the tip pool so need to be tipped separately (as well as the bartenders in the lounge).

Level 4 Travel Advisory for Haiti

I go back a long way and definitely remember a couple of times that they canceled the port due to political unrest. It was quite a while ago but it did happen. -
In room alcohol package, not the refreshments packages

Correct. I misread the post. Thought that the OP was planning to carry on the hard seltzer. -

It would be under gifts. but my question is - since when is hard seltzer permitted? They say only nonalcoholic beverages can be carried on. -
While the kids under 18 get your status, they only have the points they actually earned.

Another thought would be to ship it to your European destination (hotel).
