Who told you it was only a cruise from the US? If they told you that on the phone, I would call back and if that person tells you the same thing, I would ask to speak to a supervisor and explain nowhere on the certificate does it indicate that.

There is always availability to sit back and enjoy on warm weather cruises but the lounge is prime real estate during Alaska cruises and on sea days, availability is as bad as the pool deck.

I would pick Princess. We had a nice time on the Encore to Alaska last year but the amount of time in each port was greatly lacking and the NCL dock at Ward Cove (Ketchikan) is horrible and far away from town. Also, we felt the ship did not offer much to do. You will not be spending anytime hanging out outside at the pool/ hot tubs or loungers so the entertainment inside is important and there was not much happening.

Curious, right now if you have an iPhone, you are able to use iMessage to message other people on the ship who also have an iPhone, does anyone know if you will no longer be able to do so once the ship has Starlink?

I am glad you had a nice time. We sailed on the Encore last summer to Alaska and thought she was a beautiful ship. We sale on the Escape this summer and Puerto Plata is on our itinerary, I have to say, I never heard the port being missed because of wind. Sorry you missed it.

We have always dined at Perricone's when we stayed at the Hampton Inn but I know they moved a few more blocks further away and we have not tried the new location yet. We plan on going for our June cruise. Has anyone been to Perricone's since they relocated?

Interesting, you are going to PR instead of Tortola. You also get to spend a nice amount of time there, our Tortola times are times are 7am-2pm.

Disregard, I see you had a layover

We went on the Crown in Aug 2004 to Bermuda, what a horrible, horrible ship. I didn't book another NCL cruise until 16 years later in 2020 but that got cancelled because of covid and we finally cruised in 2022 on the Encore. I have to say, it was much, much nicer than the Crown, lol.

I believe the first cruise out of Miami is April 16th/

Curious if the Dailys will change once the Escape leaves out of Miami or will they stay the same.

How did you get a big bottle of flavored creamer on the ship? I usually by a box of the small individual creamers and pack in my luggage.
