  1. If you are both booked in 1 cabin currently, you will not be able to book a room under your name for someone else.
  2. Depends on the day and what other ships are in port with them.
  3. Carnival didn't have sorbet, except on ships with the steakhouse. Supposedly it is on the new menus, but I haven't seen them in person yet. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy, so we are keeping track of it. https://profcruise.com/carnivals-new-dinner-menus/
  4. Probably not release for booking yet.
  5. Nothing that I would count on. One year they might offer a small discount on spa purchases, but then the next year, maybe a small discount on excursions. Nothing you can rely on.
  6. I was going to do the Magic when the same opportunity presented itself, but it didn't have the cabins side by side that I wanted so I am doing Vista again. I don't think you can go wrong with either ship
  7. Usually, Carnival doesn't start releasing new dates until October/November, so they are slightly ahead of schedule. They will slowly release new dates 1-2 ships at a time until they release them all. There is no rhyme or reason as to the way they release them.
  8. No, you can only use your Carnival Fun Points on Carnival Cruise Lines. It is not a Carnival Corporation card.
  9. I see plenty of people that aren't supposed to, still drop their luggage off. They say they've never been stopped so it must be ok.
  10. Real ID is nothing special. All states will be moving to them in the next few years(I think 2025 is the new deadline), so you must use that and a birth certificate, or you can use a passport. The Enhanced Drivers License is acceptable, but only 5 states offer it and California isn't one of them.
  11. I've never seen a room with seats in the showers. Probably only the handicap rooms have them.
  12. The Panama Canal cruise is already on Carnivals site.
  13. Lol, you mean Red Lobster isn't on your list of dining options? I've heard good things about Market Street Grill in downtown SLC for seafood. Prosciutto is very salty to begin with so I would expect anything wrapped in it to be salty.
  14. Usually, Carnival starts releasing new dates around October/November, but they are releasing them early this year.
  15. Not included. You can pay extra for it though.
  16. Has your Cheers purchase already been canceled? They may not have canceled yours yet. If they did, it may take a day or so for their site to catch up.
  17. While I am one of the few who try to get into the MDR at 5:30-6:00, it is nice being able to go later if we have a later time in port.
  18. Nothing that she can remember, it was just nice having a better idea of what foods were safe for her vs guessing.
  19. Just like any restaurant on land, you go during the popular times, expect to wait longer.
  20. The original flights were still available for the airlines, so no, it WAS Carnival. I've seen ut said that Carnival doesn't actually ticket the flight until closer to the cruise, so their contracted rate may have risen, so they moved to a cheaper flight. I was able to cancel F2F with Carnival and booked the original flights with the airline at the original price.
  21. It could be the whole deposit according to the website.
  22. We've used it quite a few times for my daughters dairy allergy. It works great, however on the last day trying to grab breakfast before debarking, there is not anyone there, at least not on the 3 cruises we've been on since the restart. When I mentioned it to John Heald, he said they would do better at that so hopefully they have fixed that small issue.
