Yep, forgot about that - USA Inaugural v2.0 - I seem to remember them filming a couple of ladies at the aft bar (imagine me being there). I do remember it was also overrun by Cruise Planners - which was to be expected, I guess. But it was a fun little cruise, no problems

?? - are they going to come up to you in a bar/pool/mdr - ?? why would they do that? and yes, we have been on a Princess ship - way pre-covid and OM - when "they" were filming - If anyone remembers the early OM promos - there was a girl jumping in the pool... that took at least 50 takes - we were on the deck above the pool area where 'they' were filming. A couple of times we saw filming - but it was 'roped' off so you couldn't just walk in .. not an intrusion at all to us - actually kind of interesting since we have a close connection to someone in the film production / tv industry production arena

"don't push it" - that's what I was I was told in January on the Regal - got a 'comped' upgrade from a deluxe balcony - to a premium deluxe balcony ( true aft and much larger balcony ) when I inquired at PSD upon boarding. I knew that cabin was available, at least per the website before boarding. (REGAL was at about 30% capacity for that cruise). When I inquired about a comp upgrade to a full suite - that's when I got the 'don't push it' response. I could have upgraded for the difference in full suite price and what we had paid for the deluxe balcony.

good news - if we get to book the ultimate balcony dinner - we get flowers with that bad news - it's only a 5 day cruise and we are planning to book the dinner on day 3 - so not much time to enjoy them. wonder if we book the dinner immediately upon embarkation that they would deliver the flowers to the cabin that day to enjoy for the whole cruise? - never hurts to ask, huh?

is there a 'listing' of what 'prizes' will definitely be awarded on your specific cruise? we are 'considering upgrading to 'Premier' on our little 5 day cruise for $270 total - 250 + 8% increase in insurance, but we also have $200 obc to use for increased drink prices (nicer wines) Balcony dinner, if available, or a couple of specialty dining nights ... pics are not important, to us at least

after the Med season, SUN, heads to FTL to do East/West Caribbean cruises - don't really care which - but would like to know dates and prices for those

unfortunately, Princess is moving in the opposite direction fortunately, there are other lines that still have those in their fleet

agreed - for our upcoming cruise - we can 'bid' on a Vista suite ... but there is not one 'currently available' on the Princess website for booking

"WE" would definitely miss the balcony, sorry ... the difference in a window suite and a vista suite is $300 pp - $60pp pd for the balcony based on "minimum bids"

I just got a 'bid upgrade email' - 5 days after final - spot on as per the website - I'll evaluate and report back ... CB, little 5 day at the end of Nov - we are currently in a deluxe balcony, our cat is "sold out" - but the email includes mini's, CC mini's, window suites, vista suites, premium suites, penthouse suites, and aft facing PH suites ... a CC mini upgrade would be about $200 pp less than the current website pricing a PH aft upgrade would be about $655 pp less than the current website pricing any upgrade accepted would be subject to 8% increase in "AON insurance" the Aft PH suite upgrade starts at $685 pp ($137 pd) the CC mini starts at $120 pp ($24 pd)

How has the 5 year old done when taken to a nicer ( think Ruth Chris) steakhouse on land where a meal could easily last 1.5 hours or so?
