I want to know the same. I have well worn jeans that are faded with holes in them. I could always take a razor and cut more. They also have paint, plaster, grout, grass stains and grease spots on them as I use them for doing work around the house To me they are one of a kind designer jeans. I am the designer. On our last trip across the country I finally discovered why other couples would start looking at their smart phones as soon as they sat down. I couldn’t understand why people would have to look at their phone when they are with someone. They did that to look at the menu from scanning the code on the table. We like to look at the whole menu and not have to scroll thru pages so we would ask for paper menus. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I work in the automotive industry. We called a co worker 3 drink joe. He drank one, spilled one, and gave one away. The name came about because there were neighborhood bars that would transport workers to the bar during lunch hour in old deliver vans similar to the UPS box vans. They had great food besides the drinks. It was always SRO and workers would be hanging on the step at the back of the van because There was no room inside. He was standing on the step when the van took off coming back from the bar and he slipped off doing a belly flop onto the pavement. That became his nickname and everyone always called him that. The latest I received is Exciting Deals are back. There was nothing that really excited me as the prices were higher. If you look at a cruise on the website you will get emails that your cruise is waiting to be booked. It is no different than any other product I look at on the web, I will then get a email telling me it is ready to order Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

All the perks aren’t always included in suite fares. There are some cruises with cruise only fares. It is a perk and not an amenity of the lower end suites On some cruises the perks are included, but you will find cruises that do offer cruise fare only for the lower end suites. There are many passengers that like the extra space in suites and don’t need all the perks. They could be Zenith or are content with the drinks in the retreat lounge. They may not need or want to have the internet. The only thing they have to pay more for is the gratuities and may be able to pay for that thru OBC from a future cruise booking and stockholder benefit. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

When I asked why only one of us got the survey I was told that couples traveling together usually have the same opinion when doing the survey so it is redundant for both to get it There have been times when.both of us got it and others only one. It seems as if we always got it the the day we got off of the ship. When doing a B2B they gave us 30 minutes of free internet time to do it. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

When I book a inside cabin on a 7 day cruise for $399 pp I expect to get $500 pp from the TA, $400 pp from X along with my stock benefit OBC and OBC for using a future cruise certificate plus all the perks. I never get all of that so that is one of many reasons I don’t and never have booked a inside cabin. My TA told me that it is unbelievable the amount of people that call and think that they will get most of the above and get irate because of all the stories they hear about fantastic cruise rates when he tells them they are dreaming. They think that because they spend close to a $1000 the TA should give them more than that in OBC Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

There are many nice places to have a quiet read. It all depends on the time of day/night. The Eden can be a nice place but it does get noisy as they do have activities and rehearsals there. The port deck outside of Eden can be a nice place but it is a smoking area. For us the chairs looked nice but weren’t very comfortable. The Atrium can be quiet during the day time. It is best to look around, find a comfortable chair and enjoy. If it gets noisy move to somewhere else. There is no guaranteed quiet place except for your cabin and even that depends on your neighbors. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I am referring to texting or as some say they have to “keep in touch”. If they like doing that so be it because that is their privilege. I am serious. I think sometimes people talk without thinking or realize the situation they are in. On one cruise when we were waiting to disembark. A woman sitting next to us said she learned something. She didn’t know that she could dine in a specialty restaurant for free on the first night when sailing in AQ. She went to Blu on the first night and the server asked why she was dining there because she could dine in a specialty restaurant for free on the first night. She then proceeded to the restaurant and it only only cost her $30???? How can that be free? People don’t think before they talk. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I have about 6 different phone numbers for Celebrity. It doesn’t matter what one I use it ends up being directed to the same queue. Wait on hold for a long time. Then want is very frustrating is they say that they will have to transfer me , I am now on hold and then i lose the connection. Then the process starts again. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

You can meet and greet anyone anywhere. Just smile, say hello, ask where they are from and start talking. That is what I do. I don’t care what status they are, or if they participate in Cruise Critic and etc. I have talked to some that mentioned their Captains Club status or that they were members of Cruise Critic as if it was a status symbol. I just acted as if I didn’t know what they were talking about and as always claimed that I am a first time cruiser. When they did have it I would sign up just to make sure that they had the minimum but wouldn’t attend because for me it was a waste of time and always conflicted with something else. Prices are on the rise and like everything else the service, quantity and quality are going down. Not that I need more food served but a pound is no longer a pound and a quart is no longer a quart if you can understand what I am saying, eg a half gallon of ice cream is no longer 1/2 gallon. A pound bag of potato chips is no longer a pound. They reduced the size and increase the price. Everything is being discretely downsize while raising the prices. I have 6 more cruises scheduled and the way things are going that may be the end of it. I get the constant emails for X about 75% off on the second guest. I check the cruises that I have booked and they would be at least 50% more and sometimes doubled. Great sale My pension doesn’t increase, if mynincreases is taken back by the Medicare increase, everything increases except for my income. I am going back to college, take one class, take out a $10,000 student loan. Drop the class and pocket the money. It doesn’t say you have to pass the class or graduate. 💰🤗. This will fund my next cruise. Am I complaining ???? Yes and no. Life is great and it has been good. Cruising isn’t a right, it is a privilege. My worst day is probably better than 95% of the world’s population best day. If I decide to no longer cruise because of the cost, than so be it. It is my choice. They are presuming that everyone had a smart phone or tablet. I own both but they aren’t attached to me and not part of my body. 90% of the time they are left in my cabin. The other is if we go somewhere to relax and I want to read something. I like to travel light and only carry my sea pass card when on board. I don’t need to converse with anyone other than my wife or maybe other passengers. I like and always use the daily paper for the activities, bar hours, shows port authority contact and etc If they want to do away with paper waste then they should eliminate the art auction and spa fliers. Same here. One and done. It was unique but nothing really special. For reference you could think of it as a bargain. There is a restaurant close to us that offers the same thing. I don’t understand why people think that the only place to meet people was in the elite lounge. You don’t need to be elite or elite plus to be able to meet passengers. ‘’’ We have meet people in the elite lounge and they became acquaintances during the cruise. We never stayed in touch even though we reached out to them. We made friends from sharing a table in the Spa Cafe. They were looking for a table and I motioned to them to join us. They live in another state. We now visit them and they visit us and we [=constantly text. We also met people waiting in line to board the ship. We still keep in touch and have visited them. All of the former 2 couples are elite plus but that didn’t have anything to do with us meeting. Our status didn’t come up until we were off the cruise and discussing our future cruise plans and maybe cruising together. We have also been able to cruise a few times together and that is how the status came up. Even though we are elite plus the status doesn’t mean much as the cruise prices are almost pricing us out. I don’t ever reveal my status to anyone. It doesn’t matter. I find it more amusing to pretend I am a first time cruiser and listen to their helpful tips. 🤗. Example was the first time In the Elite Lounge when it was the only place to get the HH drinks. A couple sitting next to us asked if we cruised before????? 🙄🤷‍♂️ I said no. This is our first cruise ever. 🤗. Couldn’t believe all of the “helpful” hints they gave us. They were all worthless. But still they meant well Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Not really. I don’t know the purpose as they weren’t selling anything. The reception was just that. It had free drinks and appetizers and told about the time and where to meet for the tour the next day. We don’t like taking tours for the reasons noted and nothing has changed about them. Apparently many do like tours and if that is your thing then do it. It is a free tour and drinks at the reception. A great deal if you don’t have a drink package. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I think they are referring to the heated lounge chairs in the Persian Gardens. There is a sign that asks to limit your time to 30 minutes and be quite. We were in AQ and went to the Persians Gardens. All of the loungers were occupied. We were told to come back 30 minutes later. We did and the same passengers were there. I took a picture. Returned and it was the same. I showed the picture to the attendant and she asked them to leave as they were there too long and people were waiting. No one got up. I decided I will make it uncomfortable and turned on my IPhone playing loud music and saidvery loud if you can’t honor the rules I won’t either. Check out thru FT Lauderdale is really fast. Try to get a very early departure number. Take a cab. Don’t do any mini bus’s or airport shuttle going to the airport because you have to wait for the vehicle to be full and the loading and unloading luggage The big delay is getting thru security at the airport .
