That is worth something According to that It would have been worse if he booked a suite because all perks are usually qincluded I have also read members that are Elite will also complain that their HH perks are useless because they have the bev pack. We were in a Royal Suite on the Reflection. Everyday we would have room service for Breakfast and always dined in the Specialty restaurants. The only time we went to Luminae was disembarkation day for breakfast. It was rather busy. We both ordered omelets. My wife also ordered bacon, and a bagel and I ordered biscuits and gravy and Kielbasa. Others were seated after us, served breakfast, ate, left and we were still waiting. Those around us would look at us confused as they noticed us just waiting since they ordered after us, were served and eating. Some also made comments to us about it. Our server seemed to disappear. I thought it might be because we didn’t dine there during the cruise and the servers didn’t know us. I flagged down another server and asked about our breakfast. He found our server and sent him over. He said it was taking longer because they had to prepare the Kielbasa as there wasn’t enough cooked. I told him that he should have told me about the problem and I would have ordered something else. It took another 15 minutes before we were served and most of it was cold. I learned to tell the server if there is a problem to let us know and not keep us waiting twiddling our thumbs. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The ship had a lot of nice features and overall we enjoyed the cruise. The problem is now they are “upgrading” the other ships with the using the style rather than function and comfort concept. This is my opinion and I am sure others will be different. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The designers have no idea period for a cruise ship. The cabins aren’t functional. Blu is like it was a after thought. The upper decks have no shaded areas and is a terrible place to watch a movie during the day time Not good sight lines in Eden or The Club for watching the shows except for a few seats. Most seating around the ship looks nice but not that comfortable. Craft Social is too small to be used as a Sports Bar Who ever signed off is also at fault. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

If sailing out of the same port and ship at the same time of year it happens. People will sail to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries so it will be the same time of year. The ship will be the same because it is close to their home or just a cruise itinerary they like. We tend to only sail in the Caribbean as we can drive to the port and it is during our anniversary. Have seen the same couples many times especially those that live in FL and are sailing to earn a higher status. Have seen the same couple many times as they are Zenith and are usually the couple that gets the award for sailing the most. We use to see the same couples in Vegas when we would visit a few times per year. We stayed at the same casino and played VP at the bars and went celebrating our anniversaries and birthdays. We live in Mi and they were from PA, MN, TX, CA, and AZ. It became a joke as we would say see you in a few months or we missed you the last time here. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

About 9:30 as others have posted. You really don’t want to be on the ship as everything is closed out and down. You cannot make drink purchases, the food is cleared out and the staff is very busy. The internet service shuts down. We have done many B2B and the period between cruises is being in limbo. You basically sit around and wait. It is better to go to some place in port. What is it that you think is worth ‘moving up” to a concierge cabin? You don’t get to choose the cabin, you don’t get the extra points if that is what you are interested in and the cabin is the same size. The embarkation lunch isn’t anything special. There really isn’t much benefit for spending the extra. Agree with others for AQ Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The cosmos and apple martini are also made using the the liquors in the classic package. They aren’t the same as the premium martinis you get at the Martini bar. Ex. The Cosmo is made with a cheaper vodka, not Grey Goose and uses triple sec instead Cointreau. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We took a tour to Orient beach a few years ago. It was a rather cool [ overcast day plus very windy. Where the bus stopped to let us off seemed like a planned place to give us a “thrill”. There was a bush across from the bus. As soon as we pulled up a rather old weathered local came strolling out from that bush totally nude except for a hat and walked from that bush to another that was about 100 feet away with his middle leg swinging and dragging the ground. It was very comical seeing that. We were expecting him to come by passing his hat expecting a tip for his performance. No one was on the beach as it was very cold, windy and the the wind was blowing the sand thru the air like a sand blaster. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Simple answer no as they are unique to the Martini Bar. Depending on the time and crowd they may get one from there for you. If is this just a simple classic martini they will make it but don’t expect them to have all premium products. The bar is small and they don’t want to carry stuff that is a for a limited or one time drink. The Ensemble Bar was very crowded and noisy and we couldn’t get served. We left and went into the Retreat Lounge and the BT asked what we would like. My wife asked if they could make a drink that was on their menu. The BT said no but I will get it for you. My wife said that she didn’t have to as she would order something else. The BT left came back with it in about 2 minutes. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I don’t know if it applies to those booked before but the new Future Cruise Certificate allows 18 months to book a cruise. You aren’t required to book a place holder. After 18 months if a cruise isn’t booked you the money will be refunded something else is the names can be changed up until a cruise is booked and then only one name is allowed to be changed I will get a form and post it Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Heli pad is overrated. We went once and never went again when invited. There are much better areas to view sailing away from a port. If it is such a great place for viewing why isn’t the bridge located there? 🤷‍♂️ This is my opinion and I am sure others have a different one Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We went from a SS on the Starboard side to a SS on the aft directly under the bar area doing a B2B The cabin on side was a lot quieter and smoother sailing. Could hardly feel any motion at all or hear anything. In the back there is the constant noise from the wake, vibration from the propellers, fishtailing, rocking and etc. There was also a a lot of scrapping noise in the morning and sometimes during the day from stuff being moved around. It may depend on the cruise but there also were a lot of loud parties on the verandas below every night. There were many cabins with the dividers open and I am sure they were hosting friends from other cabins. It is also a long walk to the stairwells. Some may say that is ok as it helps burn off the calories. Trust me, the amount of calories burned wouldn’t amount enough to burn off a sniff of a cookie. 😱. That long walk can get to be tiresome especially when you want to go the the cabin to get something or take back. The good thing is when you leave the cabin there is only one way to go and same with coming back. It doesn’t matter what side of the ship you walk down coming back because you will end up at the cabin if walking to the aft. They are a rip off. I live near the headquarters of Park West Galleries that are located in Mi. There have been numerous complaints and articles about them in the papers and on TV. If you google them you will find many articles complaining about them. the BBB rates them. D+ and not accredited by them We visited the gallery out of curiosity. They have some art on the walls but no prices on them and do not sell out of it. I have never bought anything from them but asked them about buying back something bought on a cruise and they said they are not in the resale business and the owner would have to sell it thru some other means. To me that means what they sell eventually ends up in a yard sale as there is no resale market. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I did it one time and the dealer didn’t care. He knew what I was doing. Also gave him a tip that he really appreciated. I did this when it wasn’t very busy. Tried it another time and the supervisor told me I wasn’t allowed to do that. She stood there watching so I left. Went back at a different time when she wasn’t there and with a different dealer. I had to use it at a table game because at that time you had to designated what you wanted to play, tables or slots. Lately you just insert you card into a slot machine and play. Sometimes that may not be that great. You may be docked with a ship directly behind your cabin and then all you see is the bow or stern of that ship. If you are the last ship at the pier you may only have the end of the pier and sea to look at. Beat advice is to pick a cabin in a location you want and don’t worry about how it docks. it would be more important to look at the route of the ship and decide the side you want to be on. Eg if doing a north bound Alaska you may want the starboard side to see the land most of the time. If a round trip it wouldn’t matter as you would then you would see both views.
