Our check in opened 45 days before but I didn’t get an email. There is a glitch on my app as it’s not allowing me to input my dh details so will try again later.

When we have been in PH we have had the laundry done & also being elite we get the vouchers as well. As we travelled as a family there was always lots of washing. This time it’s just the two of us in a CS (I assume no free laundry) so will see how we go with E vouchers. One of our port stops is where we have a holiday home. We may go there for the day with our washing. Gary wants to do an excursion & be a tourist there for a change.

I find the app useful. I’ve tried to check in today but keek getting an error code. Will try again tomorrow.

Have to say I’m quite pleased we have to still test for our cruise on Apex in October. I know people can test positive post test however at least I know on embarkation that most will hopefully be negative.

Only you can really work out what it’s worth it to you but if it was me & Gary sailing I’d go for the CS. Me sailing solo? I’d stick to SS. Don’t need the extra space.

I’ve never seen rolled tables on a ship.

We’ve selected 11.30. No idea if this is accurate or not as flying in that morning & using flights by celebrity (first time doing this). I just plan to go ahead with whatever time we arrive.

We’ve been to Santorini on ship & land based. When we knew ships would be in port we didn’t move from our hotel. I don’t think the island can take the amount of people the ships bring in

It’s With Celebrity on 17/10/22 but we only booked 3 weeks or so ago & excursions had already sold out.

We have private excursions booked so I’m really hoping it all works out! The ships excursions were already sold out when we booked our cruise so no choice but to book private excursions

It concerns me that unless there is midcruise testing a lot of sick people just won’t test if they feel unwell if they worry they will be moved. We were on a land based trip when I tested positive. I asked the hotel what they wanted me to do. They asked us to return home (it was a 2 hour drive) & they didn’t enter our room for a week. We did feel bad about it but we often stay there for weekends 2/3 times a year. I’m honest but not everyone is.

Couldn’t agree more chemmo I found it ridiculous that our dcs could have an interconnected bedroom to the PH but not have the perks. So they had the living room when they could have had the connecting bedroom instead.

Any danger and I’m certain the cruise lines will not stop at the ports. I’ll be gutted as main reason we have picked this cruise.

For me the main thing is to be able to dine together, theatre seating & when we sailed on Constellation use of Michael’s.

I’m hoping very safe. Mine is too. Israel is the main reason I’ve chosen my cruise as I’ve been to all the other ports except for one.

Everyone is in the same situation so a few wrinkles hardly matters.

We were in 1611 on Equinox. You’ll enjoy it. Lovely ship.

We found this out when booking when our kids were younger. Unfortunately now they are no longer travelling with us we have still the PH suite taste but without having the excuse to book.

Hardly surprised they didn’t work out. Had our house ‘designed’ a very expensive mistake. Looks great. Practicality nil. We’ve changed so much to make it workable.

What did you do op?

Thank you I’ve looked at Viking world cruises as well as we are thinking of one in the near future. Gary spends his evenings in the casino on board while I tend to go back to our room or find a quiet place to read. On Viking we may have to talk to each other 😂

I’m very interested to see what being in a CS is like compared to PH & will report back. That’s if my move up bid isn’t successful.
