Beachiekeen Posted November 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Hawaii in early November is great. That is when we got married and we went to Maui on our honeymoon and again for our 5-year anniversary. November is the end of hurricane season. jdvmd Posted November 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2017 We just did the Bahamas for the last week and had beautiful weather - 80 degrees and party cloudy to sunny.
garycarla Posted November 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Looking to avoid hurricane season and looking for warm. You are on the backend of hurricane season in November. See these numbers for the last 150 years. Looks like 59 in the last 150 years. http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/E17.html

maja651 Posted November 20, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Actually, if a hurricane is going to hit the western Caribbean, it is more likely late in the season in October/November (remember Wilma in 2007?) . However, the chances are still very low in November. The thing about November weather in the Western Caribbean is that it can be iffy. We have been going to Playa del Carmen almost every year in later October/early November for about 10 years. Some years, like this year, the weather has been PERFECT sunny skies, low humidity, no rain. Other years we have had 5 or more straight days of rain. For the reasons stated above, I too recommend Hawaii. You will have less chances of a rainy cruise.

Rare Keith1010 Posted November 20, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 20, 2017 Of course a hurricane could hit in November but not likely. You could also go to California and there is an earthquake. I do think that the Caribbean and Hawaii are reasonable choices. Of course there is Asia but that is a long flight depending on where you live.
