Cabin 1700 Freedom of the Seas

I have a hold on cabin 1700 on Freedom of the Seas for June 2018. I'm wondering if this is a good cabin. We have cabin 9730 on Adventure of the Seas in 2016 and loved it.

I hope this is just as nice.

If that is the corner aft, the cabin is as big as a Jr. Suite, but offered at balcony prices. Great cabin with a big balcony.

Great cabin - pretty sure 1700 has the famous pole just like 1400. Have had 1400 a few times - pole didn't bother us one bit. Cabin is very large, kind of an odd shape, and the balcony is great.

Pretty sure if you google 1400 and 1700 on the Independence that there is a great video.

Had 1400 on Liberty sister ship to Freedom. Same cabin ad 1700 just reversed. Great cabin does have a pole but did not bother us because the cabin is big. Great large balcony. A lot a pictures online.

We had 1700 on Freedom's twin, Liberty, a couple years ago. Very large cabin and balcony. Pole included! Regular bathroom. Loved it.

My late DH had to pry my hands off the balcony railing when we had that cabin on the Indy. I did not want to leave the ship!

We will be first time "Poler's" on Freedom in January 2018. We usually get the aft corner on deck 7 for Freedom class.

Best.cabin.ever. However usually you need to book 3 or more in that cabin. It's actually larger then a Jr Suite as square footage. Wonderful balcony. Protected and private. Bathroom is normal tiny size and I felt the closet was actually a little smaller then average. We had 11 people in there several times and did not feel crowded. The size makes up for the closet for sure. And its quiet back there.

That cabin is so I nice I'd book 3 people in it and have a no show at the pier just to reserve it

We didn't notice any, but we are not in our cabin a lot.

We never noticed any noise at all from the Windjammer. It's a great room and it's huge. The pole never bothered us either. We would definitely reserve it again.

Looking at 7408 on Freedom for next May. Anyone have any experience with that aft balcony room?

I had it last year on Liberty and I will have it next spring break on Freedom. It’s an even better balcony than 1400/1700. The actual room is the same size as a regular balcony cabin. No pole though.

I was given that cabin for my 50th bday reservation by RCCL Rep. I had to lose it, because we moved our date up a week and that cabin was not available. The Rep said it was the best.

No outlets near the bed on Freedom.

Contact special_needs@rccl.com and notify them of the CPAP. They will supply an extension cord and distilled water.

We had 1400 on Freedom, great room! Go ahead and book it! You'll love it!
