jcool Posted February 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2018 We do not like sea days. Maybe you can tell me the different on Oasis? Why we love cruising. We like waking up in different port. Is Oasis just like other Ship on sea day?
Clarea Posted February 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Not exactly sure what you are asking. There is actually more to do on Oasis class ships than many others, so sea days should have many choices of activities.

TBone2K Posted February 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2018 The Oasis class ships also do a couple of matinee showings of their broadway shows (Cats on Oasis). Good way to fill a couple of hours on a sea day.

Starry Eyes Posted February 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2018 As a bigger ship, there are more venue and activity options. We love being aboard Oasis Class; some weeks we barely leave the ship. on the other hand, ther’s you: if you sail for the ports and really dislike sea days, the extra choices may not change your feelings. cruisegirl1 Posted February 15, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2018 You will likely find a 3D movie one sea day. They use the main theater. Screen is good and the sound is GREAT . Last month we saw Wonder Woman. I take a few rides on the Zip line. Once suited up, they usually let you go twice. M
jamesr3939 Posted February 16, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Usually some activities on the promenade.
papaflamingo Posted February 16, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 16, 2018 Unlike you, I love Sea Days. But Oasis actually IS the destination. As mentioned, there are lots of things to do. We did a family cruise of 11. Six adults, 5 kids. We had one port cancelled so we had only 2 ports and 4 sea days. Everyone loved it. But if you really simply cruise for the port days, then you'd be better to find a cruise that's port intensive. Go out of San Juan where there aren't any sea days. Or Europe where there are very few sea days. Oasis you generally get 3 sea and 3 port days.

We like waking up in different port. Is Oasis just like other Ship on sea day? I booked the Symphony Transatlantic for the sea days. (Symphony is the newest version of the Oasis). 12 night cruise, originally just one port, now 2 as they are popping into Port Canaveral. Which I will still treat as a sea day, unless I get tired of the flowrider.... like that will ever happen.:halo: JC

Rare ttnc4me Posted February 18, 2018 #15 Share Posted February 18, 2018 You could simply find the cruise compass posted in these threads & look at the sea day activities. ;)
