We have a few ships that we have not seen frequently in Port Everglades on Friday. Veendam will be at pier 21 (starboard to) and Westerdam at pier 26 (port to). They are both scheduled to depart at 4 pm (1600) but so are all six ships in port.

Also in port are Celebrity Reflection, Crown Princess, Serenade of the Seas, and another ship seldom seen in Port Everglades, Pacific Princess.

Thank you, Kathi, I hope to be here.:) 82 degrees and cloudy - it looks quite nice in Fort Lauderdale.

I have booked my "Waves" for January 3rd and 14th. I'm set to go! We'll be on our balcony on deck 6 (2 decks over the last or second to the last lifeboat). Are you doing something on the 4th, Kathi?

No, we are not scheduled to depart until after dark (8 pm) and for the last four years the Amsterdam has not left on the WV until 10 or after. Having watched most (maybe all?) of those sail-aways, the webcam person has not followed the ship so I don't think there is any point in asking for a wave.:(

Another Baltimore Symphony concert so I won't be able to stay long. Hopefully I'll see a couple of somebody's ships leave before I must go.

A bit of an odyssey today. All the ships that will be with me on January 5 are sailing today, Serenade, Pacific Princess, and Westerdam.
