From our recent (and first time ever) cruise. This is St. Thomas as we were approaching the island.

Mine's nowhere near as vivid, but I love remembering how the shower cooled off a hot day at Pompeii, and this brings back happy memories of that day. :)

Lots of beautiful rainbows.

This isn't the best photo, it was shot through a dirty window, but this is a vertical rainbow that ran right along the top of the water. It was from a whale watching excursion out of Juneau, Alaska. I wish I could've gotten a better shot of it as I'd never seen anything like it.

Strange method to contact you but ...

Thank you for the rest of the pictures of Cuba which I just discovered in my Dropbox yesterday.

In going through the hundred or so photographs, when I came to, perhaps the thirtieth photo, there were my niece Linda and her husband Will! And of course they started appearing in many photos since then including one with the house

i lived in some sixty plus years ago!

Alaska sailaway, rainbow over Regent, May, 2012.

Teri's shadow in a round Rainbow as I laid down on the ground to get my shadow out of the picture. Looking down into the crater of Haleakala Volcano on Maui with a mist and cloud coming up the side of the crater and the sun setting behind us.

We weren't on a cruise, but vacationing in the Shenandoah Mountains. We just had a huge thunderstorm and then the sun broke out. I grabbed the camera because I knew it meant RAINBOW
