Harmony Bed Placement from TA reports

We have been looking for the bed placement for the Harmony, wondering if we will be by balcony or the bathroom. I've sifted through the posts from the transatlantic sailing going on now, here is what I've consolidated incase anyone else is looking for this info.

With one exception all of these cabins follow the exact same pattern of determining bed placement as both Oasis and Allure.

The one cabin on this list that does not follow the pattern is 9220 which is either an anomaly or the placement or cabin were incorrectly posted.

No, 11664 has the bed by the balcony.

In reading through the Harmony TA thread I discovered where the information on cabin 9220 came from....a customer service rep at Royal. I would say that cabin 9220 has the bed by the bath and not the balcony.

It is the sane pattern as on Oasis and Allure.

Trying to figure out why it matters where the bed is located, nearer the bathroom or balcony??

With the cabin layout the difference is not as pronounced as it is on Oasis and Allure where having the bed by the closet can make it more difficult to access the closet, particularly when 2 people are getting ready.

Mostly though it's just personal preference. I know that when I book two cabins side by side we always give the kids the cabin that is closest to the closet.

In reading through the Harmony TA thread I discovered where the information on cabin 9220 came from....a customer service rep at Royal. I would say that cabin 9220 has the bed by the bath and not the balcony.

Maybe the same rep. that told one poster that the cabin steward could re-arrange the bed and sofa placement to suit the occupants of the cabin.:rolleyes:

And, yes, 9220 has the bed by the closet.

We are in ocean balcony 11666 and the bed is by the bathroom.

Bed by bathroom in Boardwalk cabins 8299, 8303, and 8307. Port side.
