Carnival's Third Vista-Class Ship, Carnival Panorama, to Be Based in California in 20

Awesome!! While we've done that route many times, having a Vista sister with all the bells and whistles is great!! Definitely willing to go on this route again on a new ship..easy drive for us!

THANK YOU CARNIVAL! So glad to have a new ship - we've always wanted to cruise the Mexican Riviera. Easy drive for us from AZ. It's a win-win for SoCal!

Very excited! Live in AZ also and Long Beach is our closest and most often utilized port. Can't wait!

Good point....with all the unrest in Mexico it would only take one event to end the experiment. I think Carnival would be best served putting the new ship in Port Canaveral and giving the Breeze to the west coast. But what do I know..........

I can't wait for Carnival Panorama to come to Long Beach. Plan on booking from Miami to Long Beach if offered as a Canal cruise.

Will Panorama be doing the Hawaii itineraries too, ya think? Would love to book that for 2020...

We go to Mexico all the time! Not sure what "unrest" is being mentioned here??

We are considering the Panorama as we do that cruise every year .

The ship is soooo different though than what we are used to that we are not sure if we'll go in 2020 or not?

Finally, a new ship for the West Coast!! We will be able to see it from our condo once it gets here!!!

West coast historically does not generate enough business to keep a new ship at prices the cruise lines are looking for. Wonder if it will be different this time?

Actually not. When you do a mock booking on the Carnival site they only show 10 cabins available on each deck (or each category...can't remember). If you want a particular cabin that shows not available you have to call your travel agent or PVP to see if it really is unavailable.
