I hope it's resolved itself for you by now cruzinlady- yesterday I was reading and when I got to page 21 the entire thread dissolved down to only two pages... Fortunately this morning everything is back to normal.
Thank you for the wonderful Enchantment review Radio, a veritable pleasure as always! We did a similar itinerary on Princess a few years ago and it took me back to great memories of my first Royal Caribbean cruise on the Grandeur's inaugural. Did you happen to notice an area at the entrance to the casino where it looked like a 'porthole' window in the floor? I took a picture and we could see a starfish, pearls, a fish, etc. It's been a while but they were pretty cute...just wondering. :)

[I]All is back to normal now. I sure didn't want to miss any of this thread.

Thanks again Radio. Job well done and greatly appreciated. I just wish we got points for joining you on this cruise. ;) Looking forward to more live reports in the future.

Thanks,
Gwen :)
Radio has not posted since last night? Or did I miss something?

Maybe he's had connection problems. He is so good about posting frequently that I worry about him when we don't hear anything.
The bulletin board database was corrupted sometime last night, and apparently not completely fixed until late this morning or early this afternoon.

Hey may have run into problems with that.

Hello everyone. . . I am home from another wonderful cruise on Enchantment of the Seas.

First off. . .let me say that I had no idea that there was a problem with CC, until about 7 this morning. It kind of went like this:

As we approached the Norfolk area, I found out that I could disconnect from Royal Caribbean On Line and use my wireless connection (much faster)as a hot spot (That what I did in Portland, Bar Harbor, and Boston) No worries, I went to bed around 11PM ,as we passed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.(Virginia)

I wake up at 4AM and see on my GPS that we are about 30min away from the Bay Bridge in Maryland. Great. Lets connect and start a post on Cruise Critic. It didn’t work. . .hmmm. . . Maybe I’m not close enough to the tower/switch. I waited another hour until we got close to the Key Bridge. . . OK. .No Luck, Hmmm, lets reset the phone, take out the battery. What is going on with my connection? About an hour later we arrive at Cruise Maryland, at the Port of Baltimore. Still no connection to CC.

I jump on Facebook and find the answer. . .CC went down at 2AM last night, and it is still down. I post my arrival time on FB, and all is good. Whew. . . This all seemed more complicated than it was. I mean. . . so CC goes down, no worries, I will post when it is up, right. It just happened at a time when it shouldn’t have. Oh well . . .that’s what happens sometimes. . . Ok so let’s start over !

Good Morning everyone. . Today is a day that I really don’t like. . . The day when I am forced to disembark a Cruise Ship. I have to do it though. There are 2500 passengers who need to get on this ship and have been waiting very long for this morning to happen.

Everyone that is reading this “LIVE” must know the feeling you have when you wake up to “Boarding Day” All is right, and it is a wonderful day. “Let’s leave early” “Do we have everything?” This may have been the thoughts of 100’s of passengers ready to board this beautiful ship to Bermuda.

We arrived at Cruise Maryland quite early today. I could see the pier at about 6:15 AM, and we were alongside by 6:30AM. I usually wait until late before I “have” to get off of the ship. Mrs. Radio was picking me up, and she phoned me at 9:30 to tell me she was in the parking lot. OK. . . Now would be a good time for debarkation.

I was thinking about all of the other cabins that I wanted some photos of, but I remembered that I had toured this ship twice this year before sailing, and I will post many of those pics for you to see.

I was hope, safe and sound before 10:30, and I wanted to check CC to see if it was up and I could make my final post. . .Sorry. . .still down.
Mrs. Radio and I went up to my DD house up in Havre de Grace, MD to help here get ready for her move in day next week. Things are going well. . It is a great house, that was built in the 30’s.

I am now sitting in the comfort of my home, and here are a few pics from our arrival this morning. . .

Thanks for all of the very nice comments. I love to do “LIVE” post. . .I have been doing them for years. . . I consider it a hobby. . .Mrs. Radio calls it an “obsession”.

She reads every post and every comment, and she loves them too. It puts a smile on her face, and I hope it may have put a smile on some of yours’ as well !

Thanks for tuning in ! I will be posting each Daily Compass, and many more pics during the next few days !

Until next time. . .

You absolutely put a smile on my face for the last 9 days! Never thought I would want to take a northern cruise (I'm an island lover! warm weather etc...) but you've changed my mind. I'm sad though that they aren't running this cruise next August for me to go on :(

Radio. I really wanted to "Thank you" for doing the "Live" reports, I don"t think I've missed one ! Your pictures are better than anyone else. I think it is because you really put your heart and soul into your posts. Obsession..........for me it is an addiction! I am on cruise # 41 next week with #42 booked and planning #43.

Quite simply.........I can't walk down that gangway without having another one booked.

Thank you again for doing this and taking us along with you!

I could almost taste the lobster roll as you provided your "LIVE" updates. I can hardly wait until next spring - when I get my next shot at fresh lobster rolls.
Thank goodness I get my dose of Enchantment before next spring. ;)

These two paragraphs are the single best reasoning I've ever heard for booking a Back-To-Back cruise.

I've never done it myself, but oh the happy feeling that must come with knowing "*I* don't have to get off the ship today!!!"

I was on this cruise as well. I need to take time and read through all the posts. Looks like some great stuff.

Browsing through I saw your Halifax post, I scored the last whale watch ticket. Very large tour group on the 1:30 sailing. If it makes you feel better there were no whales to be found. It was a beuatiful day to be out though.

Luckily I finally saw my whale from the ship that evening.
