Do concierges work for 4 or 6 months before they have a vacation? Don't they have a two month vacation?

Thanks. Guess we will see who will be the DL and CL concierges on FR when we cruise on Feb. 10 as folks return from cruises. Thanks for keeping this list up. The Concierges really help to make our cruises special.

I agree!!! I love knowing which Concierge is on vac so if I can book another week I will!! I missed Fernando on Allure by one week in june although I got a huge surprise when he came aboard early!!

Wondering if anyone had any updates?? If not,looks like a few will be taking place next month..

 

Willie Salaya, concierge on Freedom, will sign off on Feb 10!!!

Berty (???) will be taking over, until April, when Willie will be back!

This was only our second time in the Concierge lounge on the IOS in December.

 

At cocktail time at 5PM, there was no dress code

Small childre made very welcome--most were well behaved

Teens were there in short, shorts

Many guests would get their drink and appetizers and leave the Club with it

 

But,Raj and staff seemed to be hard workers

 

PS Wanted to get a dining room menu, so I could order room service from it. but Raj said that wasn't being done on the IOS

Is this the "Norm?"

Hmmmmm......wonder why?? If you were in a suite,you should had been allowed........unless the ID has different rules??

Our next cruise is on the Vision, so no concierge for us!!:rolleyes:

 

I must say, that after coming off of the Brilliance for 3 weeks in December, when Betsy goes on vacation, and Gustavo Butcher takes over........watch out! He is one of the greatest people that we have met, and I would darn near fly back to San Juan just to be with him.

 

For those coming aboard the Brilliance on 1/19.......call him Butcher....that is what he calls himself, and he comes from Guest Services, as the second in command, so when he is in his new quarters......now deck 13, temporary CL, you will find that he will go out of his way to accomodate your needs.

 

We leave next on the Vision TA on April 17th. Captain Lis has assured us that we will have something like the CL for our trip!;)

Is this the suite concierge or the diamond concierge? It sounds as if Francois went home early but since there is now a DL on Serenade it would be nice to know who is filling that position. Normally a diamond concierge wouldn't contact a guest prior to the cruise anyway.

I was just with Oana and I can attest to seeing her asking a set of parents to leave as well as another night a father and son to leave the lounge as no children are allowed at the evening event. I also saw her ask various persons to see their sea pass cards.

I am really sorry that I am going to miss seeing Oana Popa on Liberty on my Jan 14 cruise.

She is excellent and certainly one of the reasons that I keep returning to Liberty. Thank goodness she will be back for the transatlantic crossing.
