I have a list of new things I want to try on Princess this cruise. Here are my top five:

Ultimate Balcony Dining

a glass of wine at Vines

Order a bottle of wine with dinner

Visit the Sanctuary

Dance at Skywalkers

What is on your list?

Try the new wine card program (sounds like a good bargain)

Aft Balcony - booked this saturday :)

Breakfast room service (have always talked about but have never done)

Matress foam topper (heard lots about this)

All my other cruises have been either solo, with a girl friend, or with my mother so this upcoming cruise is going to be a first for me - traveling with a romantic interest :o

So....

1. Ultimate Balcony Dinner

2. Dance

3. Crown Grill

4. Glass of wine at Vines

5. "sleep" late and miss breakfast :D

See the Champagne Waterfall fall over

Mix up all the chairhogs chair savers

Have the Captain snap off a salute to me and say " Welcome Aboard"

See the Pilot actually have to leap onto the Pilot Boat

And Finally, watch the ship pull away from the dock as stragglers run franticaly toward the ship

1. Enjoy every minute from arrival to airport - have a glass of champagne to start with on the plane

2. Enjoy staying at Embassy Suites in FL & do last minute shopping - wine-wine-wine!

3. Being very excited about my very first aft corner balcony

4. Going to the sail away party with a marguarita! And win something: massage, free tournament at the casino, or else

5. Sit back et do nothing: no grocery, no planning, no cooking, no cleaning

6. Enjoy the sun and warm weather and cold pools (I hope)

7. Swim in the ocean everywhere we get off and working on my tan

8. Walking around the promenade every morning and having tears because it is so beautiful

9. Being around happy people

10. Breakfast room service (never had it either)

11. Winning at the casino (?)

Will I want to come back? Hum...not sure!

Have a great cruise all of you.

I'm ashamed (not really :o ) to say that all of my "want to trys" all involve food that I somehow have managed not to taste so far. :D

We have fortunate enough to experience many of the above Princess wish list items, so here's our top 5 recs (most already noted):

1) Balcony Dinner and/or Breakfast. If you have never experienced this treat, it's worth a whirl. We have had this a couple of times, with mixed results (weather related), but do try!

2) Staying onboard at Princess Cay. If it's winter, stay onboard. The sun is the same you would get on the Cay and the pool is most probably a lot warmer than ocean - not to mention the relative peace of being onboard.

3) Take Breakfast at the Coffee bar/International Cafe. Buy a coffee card and slide on down to the Cafe for a cappucino and pastry treat - or an "egg mcmuffin" type of sandwich (treats inclusive). Grab a table at the window and watch the waters flow by. Later in the afternoon, grab a table at the Vines across the lobby - try the Gerwurztraminer or a Sancerre - rare by-the-glass offerings. Add in some sushi or sashimi, or tapas (food inclusive).

4) Try the Chef's Table. Again, we had mixed results on this one but the experience is wonderful. We like Sabatino's also.

5) Grab a steamer lounge on the Promenade on a sea day and bring along a good book. Want to feel like you are on a old-school cruise ship and see and hear nothing but the sea? Try this little diversion and enjoy your nap!

Honorable mention: Bring along some good Champagne for your Balcony room, maybe a little cognac for after dinner on the seaside!

One more: Participate in one of the kooky contests - either putting, or trivia, etc. You will have a lot of fun, meet like-minded people, and maybe win a award!

Can anyone tell me what the olives are stuffed with?

Off the top of my head.....garlic, blue cheese, jalapeno, almonds, pimento(boring), I am sure there are more, just can't think of them! They are wonderful. This is one of the things I am looking forward to in April!! Kim

1) Stay up all night

2) Get a new coffee card

3) Have breakfast in the dining room

4) Try different wines at Vines

5) Go to Karaoke

I love the coffee card, the silent movies on pool deck, the pizza, Wheelhouse Bar, the pizza, the two levels of solarium, and much more.

Thank goodness there's no more smoking in the cabins or on balconies.

I just got back from a Princess cruise. The one thing I didn't try was the wine flight sampler in Vines. I did everything else I wanted to do.
