This past March I finally got to go on a cruise with my adult neice Meredith. We had a blast.

Last April, we were on the LOS transatlantic from FLL to Barcelona.

 

We had a wonderful roll call group and the best and most fun cabin crawl I have ever experienced.

Took my daughters on their first cruise on the Allure in August. I loved seeing the awe in their eyes at all the amazing things on the ship. Approximately once an hour, my 6-year old would turn to me and ask, "are we still on a ship??"

My last cruise was a mother/son graduation cruise with my son. One of our ports was Roatan, Honduras. We visited a beach resort called Fantasy Island. To the side of the parking lot, they have a little nature area where you can see various birds and animals. The small monkeys are both friendly and mischievous. They'd drop from trees, sit on your shoulder and try to steal things like sun glasses. We had the BEST time playing with these fun little creatures. It was the highlight of our trip.

After having an amazing cruise on the Carnival Miracle with my wife, we returned home to 57F and sunshine...in Syracuse, New York,,,in early February! :eek::). No snow to shovel, no ice to scrape off of the car. It was the perfect ending to a perfect cruise.

Renting a Boston Whaler and seeing Bermuda from the water. Our best day of cruising ever; I didn't even get (too) upset when DH jumped into waist-deep water with my camera in his pocket and then beached the boat on a small island :D

Our last cruise was on the Carnival Splendor. The best thing was being with our 90 year old friend who went snorkeling with us! And our mini golf tourney with our group of 10 in the WIND. Too fun

This is my weight loss plan. I went up and down each and every staircase on Oasis several times every day on my 7 day cruise. Got a peek at I 95 also.. lol I love looking into every nook and corner, and found Art everywhere I looked.

Drarill you're on AOS over New Year. How amazing. The best New Year I've ever had in my life was on MOS about 5 years ago. As soon as I win the lottery i'll be cruising every Christmas & New Year - lol

 

We also celebrated NYE a couple of years ago on the AOS and had a great time!! Our departure day was Dec. 31st and the Captain decided to circle the island (Puerto Rico) at 12:00 and we could watch the fireworks!! It was beautiful!! Looking forward to our cruise!!:):)
