How many cruises ?

Hello everyone,

After reading so many posts on this site over the past few years, I see so many people who have MANY cruises under their belt. I thought it would be fun to start a thread to ask quite simply - How many cruises have you been on? That's it. Just how many. Would be fun to see what the highest is.:)

Great question! How about adding total days at sea? I know that many of say Paul929207's cruises have been long cruises so that number may even be more fun.

I honestly don't remember if it's 23 or 24. I usually respond with "over 20". We're at the low end in comparison to many others here.

Total of 45, with over a year spent on cruise ships! My wife and I have spent 5% of our time together onboard cruise ships. Kinda cool, I think!;):)

Of course I didn't have to pay for most of them.

Unlike BruceMuzz, sadly, we had to pay for all of ours. :)

Only 4 with number 5 in 34 days! A late starter, my first cruise was not until I was 51. I have a lot of catching up to do. Looking to have many more in the years to come.

If I only had more vacation time........I consider myself fortunate to have completed 4 cruises with 2 more currently booked. I have several destinations on my wish list so I hope to continue my cruising trend.

In 2010 I was in the process of counting our cruises -- going through boxes of scrapbooks when we had a major disater hit our house and I lost several boxes of scrapbooks. I was doing this for another site I belong to. At that time I was up to 110 cruises. We had done several that were lost and several since then.

I don't bother to count our cruises any more.

Hi,

I think that being / working on a cruise is a lot different than being on a cruise as a guest during your vacation.

 

So if you want to compare your experience with 'ours' .......

 

did you actually book and paid ( as the rest of us ) for any cruises ?

On which cruise lines ?

How did you like them ( from the passenger's point of view) ?

Did they ( the crew ) know who you are ?

Did you get a preferential 'care' ?

Or you were just another guest / passenger ?

 

I would really enjoy your answers.
