Non-Alcoholic Frozen Drinks - We need a package!

Recommended Posts

I know I'm not the only one that doesn't drink. I love my virgin mango tango's and strawberry daiquiri's. I'd love to see a drink package for US.

I saw on another thread that they had them during spring break for the kids. We need them ALL the time.

Who's with me?

I'm with you!! Another reason to cruise with Celebrity. Their Premium non alcoholic packages include the frozen drinks, fresh squeezed orange juice, premium coffees and teas, premium water, can sodas, and vitamin water. I hope RCCL offers something like this in the future.:):)

This really does sound like a great package! My fiancé doesn't drink at all and I almost never... And when I do it's usually a fruity cocktail. Therefore having a package with soda + extra would be awesome. I'm just curious what they would charge because the alcohol package seems overpriced. Here's hoping they make a package (probably not before our cruise in May though lol)

Celebrity's Classic Non alcoholic package is $14 a night and the Premium, $18 + gratuities. It is a great deal.

Oh we are so with you! We'd buy it for the whole family! (As long as the price wasn't outrageous. I'd settle for reasonable.)

Mocktails & Pregatinis & Coco Locos wit-out!:)

DH loves a virgin Pina Colada on a cruise. Once they accidently brought him loaded and when he told the waiter, the waiter said, it's ok, keep it. DH was like, um, no, thanks, but I'd prefer it without the battery acid. lol.

I might have a little alcohol on occasion, but it only takes a little for me to reach my limit and extremely rarely when I'm traveling with my kids. Marketing to families as a family vacation, they may find lots of customers are the same as me/us.

I think that they are picking up on this and adding more things on the ships for families to do together. So many of us want to have more to do with our kids on vacation than send them to kids club. (NOT that there is anything wrong with kids club, but some time with them is nice, too!)

They need one like princess offers....premium Unlimited Soda & more Package, unlimited soda plus any mocktails, juices, shakes, floats and complimentary hot chocolate.....

COMPLETELY AGREE! That is one of the selling points for us to cruise Princess more than other lines. We are not huge drinkers and LOVE this non alcoholic package. I think everyone needs to send letters/emails/phone calls to RCCL to bring this into place. I can tell you that we as a couple have sent several emails to different contacts at Royal hoping for a change. It seems odd to me that they did this only for Spring Break cruises and not roll it out fleet wide year round.

Just as a guideline, the Princess Unlimited Soda & More drink package which includes the mocktails, milkshakes, juices, etc is $8.05/day per person (which includes the 15% gratuity).

WAKE UP ROYAL AND JUMP ON THIS BAND WAGON THAT OTHER LINES ARE DOING!!!

I'd buy that for myself and my son. The cruise line would make out better because when I am looking at per drink pricing I only end up buying a couple all week, and we would really enjoy the drinks all week.

I agree with the other posters. If these ships are becoming more family friendly, then they need to change their drink packages to reflect options for toddlers (juice/milk), older kids/ teens (smoothies) and those of us adults who just don't drink (mocktails).

I wish they'd offered this on my Spring Break cruise!!! I bought the juice package for my son because he doesn't drink soda, but he didn't want to carry a bottle of juice around all day either. So it ended up being a waste. He asked me to buy him a virgin drink at one of the bars one afternoon and he loved it. He would LOVE this package!

I think the other thread had it at 7 drinks for $24 or something like that. But it really needs to be an unlimited package.

Count me in! Who do I need to email?

Are cruise ships missing out on fresh juice, smoothies and health drinks or are they on the newer ships? There is now a big trend in malls and cities to specialised juice and smoothie outlets. On my last cruise all I saw was two orange juice machines and the bars used premixed cartons instead of fresh fruit.

Since Celebrity offers a non alcoholic package, I am surprised that Royal Caribbean does not offer the same since they own Celebrity. On Royal I get the soda package, on Celebrity, I get the non- alcoholic which includes all sodas, special coffees and teas, and non alcoholic drinks (such as strawberry daiquiri, pina colada), fresh squeezed orange juice and bottled water. Lots offered by Celebrity package! Hopefully, Royal Caribbean will offer soon also.

That would be perfect for me too!

:( I was on Freedom April 7-14 and I was ready to get one for DD & myself. We do not even drink the soft drinks. BUT.....I LoVe the Virgin Strawberry Lava Flow! I told my DD all about it and was very :(:(:( when the lady told me that they no longer had them. I did get a Lava Flow but only one. So Royal lost $ on us this time.
