Freedom B2B Trip Review 4/28/13 - 5/12/13 (picture heavy)!!!

Recommended Posts

Been most of the morning reading and enjoying your photo's of your cruise and the Freedom. Plan to book Freedom in a few week for March 2014.

This has made my day. Will show your review to my Son & DIL & Grandson who will be going with me in March.:)

Wonderful job on your review and photo's.:D

I'm really glad you enjoyed reading it.:)

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!!!!!

We are changing our booking from Allure to Freedom and so I decided to do a search and see what people have to say.

I will admit, this is the FIRST and ONLY thing I have read and it was PERFECT

Thanks soooo very much for taking the time to write it.

My kids LOVED the pictures and we had fun reading it during the day.

I even had my soon to be 12 year old down here looking at the pictures and if you have ever been around 12 year old boys, the LAST thing they wanna do is sit with their mom and look on the computer!!

Thanks again!!! We will go back and reread this one a few more times before our August cruise!

Chass

Heh, a pretty picture will capture just about anyone's attention. ;)

I'm just happy people are finding it useful and entertaining.

Thank you so much for your review. I always feel my anticipation of my next vacation is just as important as the vacation itself. Your review only adds to that.

I told my husband that ending wonderful reviews like yours is like ending a good book I have been reading. Thanks again for your effort. It is greatly appreciated. We are going on Eastern in Nov for 25th anniversary/ youngest daughter graduation. Can't wait!!!! :):):D

You are most welcome.:) I agree that the anticipation is as important as the vacation itself. Well, almost...

Thank you so much for your review, I really enjoyed it. Even though I know the Freedom class ships quite well I still noticed one or two things I hadn't seen before in your pictures. Very bold I read it all in one go yesterday afternoon when I should have been working. It has gotten me all excited for my up coming Liberty cruise. I loved your style of writing as well.

Wow. That is a lot to go through in one afternoon. Sure beats working though. I promise not to tell your boss.;)

Thanks for the great review! Unfortunately, we only get to take the first half of the journey.

IMO, that is the better half of the trip.

Thanks to everyone else for the positive words. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it.

Thank you, thank you. But I'm not taking the blame for your cruise fever. ;) (Although, I'll admit I may be slightly responsible).

Thanks for the greatest review! We have sailed on Freedom of the Seas a couple of times and are going again in January. We will be in a hump cabin on the opposite side of the ship from where you were.

I have a silly question to ask you though. Why did you not go to the Diamond Lounge nightly? We have gone there and enjoyed meeting people and just relaxing before dinner. My guess is that they don't serve the kinds of drinks you want there.

I think we will have to try out a few other places for cocktails this time instead of spending so much time in the casino, lol.

Thanks again for the great review.

Thanks again for the great review.

There are three reasons we didn't (and generally don't) go to the Diamond Lounge. First, as you guessed, is the drink selection. Second and third depend entirely on the cruise itself: I've found the Diamond Lounge is either a tomb or so packed that you can't sit down, depending on who's booked on the cruise. So, I usually peek my head in once or twice a cruise, but otherwise go other places.

There's nothing wrong with a little quality time in the casino.;)

AZA....you were right!!! We LOVED cabin 9338. Will always compare other cabins with this one!!! SO very convenient, quiet and LOVED the loungers.

Yea, that cabin is the best. It's mirror twin on the other side of the ship isn't as good (stayed in that one, too) because the suite directly above it is the one with a piano. Afternoon nap + suite party with piano player didn't work out like I wanted.

It is going to be hard for me to book any other cabin now. Good thing I didn't tell the entire world how great it is. Oops.
