Read in the BBC News that the 5 persons charged in the grounding of the

Costa Liner got 2yrs-8months and may not serve jail time:confused:

I really hope this is not true?Has anyone else read this?

It may or may not be "justice", depending on what their roles were in the tragedy. Not everyone has the same degree of responsibility.

If you post more about the charges against these people, and what part they played, it might be a bit easier to judge.

I've read he faces a sentence of 12 to 20 years. Not sure that qualifies as a "long one".
