After lunch we went back to the room for a nap...We napped ALOTT on this cruise...I think it was because we were alone and didn't have more people to consider....We headed to our station for muster and then up to Serenity for Sailaway....I snapped a few pictures along the way.....

 

 

 

 

 

I played this game in the casino...but I'm not sure if anyone ever wins...

Back up on Serenity...

 

One way to get to Serenity is to trek up the sundecks from Lido past all the lounge chairs and zig zag your way to deck 11....But that is also the way that the kids get to the top of the water slide....Whose entrance jumbles up next to one of the Serenity deck entrances...So if you go that way...prepare to dodge drenching wet 5 yr. olds( whose parents could care less they are running around a ship unattended to) .....They also get turned around a lot once they get there so from time to time they find their way in the Serenity area...

If you don't know how to play this game...Let me get you up to speed...First...You grab some lunch possibly...or not...Flag down a waiter or head to a bar for a beverage or two...Then head up to Serenity and its time to play!!! It's simple...here are the rules...3200 guests on board including 800 kids so that lowers the playing field to 2400 participants...4 clamshells...EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES....Think you see an empty one??...Race towards it!!!.....Ooooooh sooo close!!! some dude with a bucket of beer and a chest hairier than Chubakka beat you to it ( why isn't this guy downstairs for the hairy chest contest?)......Ohhh theres one!!!...Race!!!!...ahhhhhh damn....Shes so tiny you couldn't see her in it huh?...toooo badddd......

 

 

We played this game for 4 days....all different times of day...we never came close to winning....:(

 

I'm not complaining...actually it was kind of funny...I mean...they cant have enough of these things in an area to please everyone...And if someone beat you to it I mean....what can you say? But, it does seem like they have room for a few more....these things are popular and I wanted to try one...

Rats....might as well pull up a chair and order a pair of Blue Twins...

 

 

 

Carnival's Blue Margaritas are the bomb yo...and imo They have the most alcohol content of all the fruity drinks....And your boy KNOWS Fruity Drinks!!

 

Ive had Blue Margaritas in every section of the boat...Lido...Serenity...Comedy CLub...Night Club....All the bartenders load that drink up for some reason...

Shyhova this recipe comes straight from the Carnival Cocktail book my hubby bought....... only because it had the ingredients for the Blue Margarita :D

 

1 fl oz Sauza Tequila

1/4 fl oz De Kuyper Triple Sec

1/4 fl oz De Kuyper Blue curacao

3 fl oz Sweet and Sour mix ( I buy ready made margarita mix without the alcohol)

blend all ingredients pour over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge

 

This is how I enjoy mine :D

Ironic that you would post this.... Under the Dome is filmed in Wilmington, Burgaw and Southport. Chester's Mill courthouse is actually Pender County Courthouse in Burgaw.

Shyhova, I hope you don't mind me butting in, but I just wanted to let you know I'm enjoying this review as much as your first one. I love the way you write and love your humor. We were on Liberty on for the April 5 sailing and watched you guys sail out ahead of us. I took a lot of pictures of Victory as you guys headed out and also took more when out at sea when following you for a while. I took so many pictures of Victory because I thought Victory was the ship a good friend of ours was on in January and I was going to get them to her. Turns out they were also on Liberty. If you'd like, I'd be happy to get you those pictures somehow. If you want me to add them here, I can but I can also give you email and I can send them to you so you can add to the review if you want or just have if you wanted the pictures of you all sailing away. Still following and looking forward to the rest.

After sailaway it was time to get ready for dinner...We had early dining which was a little difficult for me personally...I had trouble getting ready for dinner at 6pm everyday, because It seemed like the time got there before you knew it....

 

 

 

It was then something weird happened....My GF goes " hmmm...I want some fruit...but that artichoke dip sounds good"....WHAAAA???:eek:
