How do you like the video from the t5i? I was thinking of getting that, but I heard it wasnt that great in low light so I've been hesitant.

 

My camera is a T3i.

As for all my low light shots including the fireworks I used the Tamron 24-70mm F/2.8 VC for all of my shots. The F/2.8 stays constant even if I am zooming out which is extremely helpful in low light situations. I also never let my ISO go over 1600 in the low light. I find that anything after that just makes the shot look too grainy.

WOW!! What a beautiful video and to use One Republic's "I Lived" was the perfect touch.

 

 

I initially had a different song picked out as well as a different theme.

 

Everything changed once I had the footage from the ropes course. She was beaming with pride after she accomplished that. Then later that same night while laying in our beds waiting to fall asleep she happen to mention that she gets really motivated in her runs whenever the I Lived song comes on her playlist. It was in that moment that something clicked inside of me and I knew my video was going to take on a whole new meaning and direction.
