Hi Marion yes we cruised on her Feb this year Los Angeles to Melbourne, not the biggest lover of her design but she'll do;) ..timing and price sealed the deal..... I costed up a 5 day land trip to the Algarve and Lisbon, John wants to visit Fatima, and it worked out around $1200.00 for the 2 of us:eek:....for the little extra ...cruising won .... again.....;):D:D

 

Ports are Vigo, Oporto, Seville (Cadiz) Malaga, Gibraltar, Lisbon.

So under $1000 for a solo passenger! I'll have to move closer to Sydney to be able to take advantage of these last-minute prices!

Wait on, that won't work as my little 1-day per week job that I have here pays for my cruises! Oh well.........

I like the way you think! I also calculate cost per day, then work out whether that is good value.

Have just booked the ships tour to Fatima for John, wasn't cheap but happy to pay the extra for peace of mind......;) Couldn't think of a better way to overcome any jetlag than cruising...... :D:D
