nice sail away.

We have three ships next week and yes, there have been waves requested so we should see some great closeups.

I'll be back for that one for sure:D

Thanks Chief for starting the thread.

And many thanks to Lou and Dave for the great webcam.

Cheers all!

Anyone know why Noordam is coming in so early? She is scheduled to arrive in FLL at 11:00 tonight.

I hope not, but it may be a medical issue for someone onboard.

Then, it could be a traffic issue. When I was aboard the Amsterdam, we arrived the evening before scheduled due to Fleet Week at Fort Lauderdale and the ship's arrival had to be timed to meet the security requirements of the Naval vessels visiting.

Maybe the Noordy has a medical emergency. A few years ago returning from Hawaii on the Zaandam, one of the crew had appendicitis. The seas were too rough for the Coast Guard to send a chopper, so in the words of the Captain, he put the pedal to the medal and we arrived in San Diego at 11 pm as opposed to 7 am the next morning.

I wondered the same thing: A medical issue?

That could explain it. Hope it is just a scheduling thing, don't like to hear about medical emergency like we had last night with the Liberty.

Allure is on the move.

I always enjoy hearing the Love Boat theme.

Thanks for the suggestions about Noordam. Hope it is nothing too serious if it is medical.

And the last one is off. I can't remember a day when six ships left so quickly.
