Nope it's just one for a mini suite. I called my PCC this morning to switch to this promo and had the choice of one of the 3 options. We went with the UBP since we were planning on paying for it anyway. Plus the UBP is the most bang for your buck if you drink enough.

I think it was a glitch, but it is still showing on NCL's webiste when you go to book. I just checked.

Well shhhh about it otherwise people are gonna start calling and saying so and so got blah blah I want it to. I hope it stays for u. Like someelse said take pictures of it so u have proof. And yeah I hear ya on the long flights that's the big reason I have no desire to go to Europe. I hate flying. I fly to Las Vegas twice a year and need to take Xanax lol

We promised our daughter we would take her to Las Vegas for her 21st birthday. For some reason, she has wanted to go for eons now. I guess it's cheaper than Europe LOL I haven't been in a very long time.

I wanted to do this too! My dd turns 21 in March and next year is also my 25th Wedding Anniversary. I've never been to Vegas so I thought this would be great.

Now, my dd's friend (they both attend the same college) is studying abroad next semester so my dd asked if she could visit her in Italy and have us pay for her 21st birthday (over spring break, which also covers the date of her birthday).

So, I think that is still less expensive then all of us going to Vegas LOL

Now, I still need to get to Vegas and get remarried by Elvis!

on the Gem you can buy 3 specialty dinners for $60/person so I view the udp as the least of the 3 offers. don't know why your TA isn't offering you the ubp as an option? and from others, mini-suites on some cruises get a choice of 2 out of the 3. do a mock booking and see what perks show up? heck, just get a suite and save yourself the headache. :p

Oh, he did offer the beverage package. Guests 1 and 2 get the alcohol package, guest 3 gets the soda package. Which would actually work well for us.

While we will drink our share on the ship, I don't think we would get our money's worth from the beverage package. And we're really interested in the specialty dining.

For now, I'm thinking we'll keep our $409 OBC. When we board the ship we'll find the dining concierge and book our specialty dining for the week. We won't pre-book specialty dining, since that's paid for up-front -- we'll book on the ship so it's deducted from our OBC.

Rep said they hold back 40% of specialty dining reservations for those on the ship. Any one know if that's accurate?

I'm kind of curious to know if anyone here has been able to view the European cruise schedule today beyond April of 2016????? Even my PCC can't figure out exactly what's going on today.

Nope. I called NCL directly. Not sure why NCL doesn't just release the information on their website and only allow booking by latitudes member. Very easy to do and it could save a lot of time and work. I feel bad for the PCC.

The schedules should be available on the 18th when booking is available to everyone.

I just booked a Caribbean cruise on the Jewel out of Houston for January 24. The prices are the same as they have been for the last several weeks. When I first booked it I put in the Ultimate Beverage Package and on the next screen it offered both the UBP and the $200 OBC. Should have known it was too good to be true. Once I paid only the OBC showed up. I had to call them and ask to be switched over to the UBP. Oh well, I was pretty darn happy to get a $350 beverage package when I only paid $570 for my room!!!

I wound up calling NCL on my lunch hour and got booked for the 2016 Alaska cruise that I was looking at. She told me that not everything loads onto the website at the same time and that we'd probably be able to look at all of the 2016/2017 tomorrow. I went ahead and had her book me because I had a horrible dream last night that all of the rooms in the category I wanted got snapped up and I was left sitting at the dock...

I really need to take a look at what is available...we are looking to book Alaska for 2016 too but still aren't sure where and how long etc. I wish we could see the bookings..kind of disappointed. :(

I just can't get a better deal - seems like I must have booked at a good time - have 180 Obc - but the cost of the cruise is about. $300 more so it is not a good deal for me - thinking about the ubp but not sure if we will use it enough

If booking with a free cruise cert. from Caesars, where you only pay port fees & taxes, can you get this promo?

I'm not interested in the UBP since I already get free drinks in the casino. But would be interested in the UDP.

There have been reports that the promo does work with the free cruise certificates, but it appears that the free cruise must bean oceanview or higher. If you are given a free inside cabin you can not pay to upgrade and recieve the promotion.

For the past two days I have been testing out mock bookings to see if I should rebook our April cruise on the Gem. When I get to the final page that gives you the prices per person, I get two ways of booking. One is the Norwegian rate and the other is the promo rate. The promo rate whether I pick OBC, Beverage package of Dining package is $30 more per person than the Norwegian rate. This is for both balcony or mini suite, I've tried each category. Thus per cabin you are really not getting a $200 OBC, if picking OBC, but it's only a savings of $140 if you figure in the "upprice" of the basic cruise price for using the promotion. Anyone else have this problem? Carol

Been looking at mini-suites on Getaway for Jan 2016 and haven't seen this happening, the price has been the same for both price rows.

Sounds like what is happening with AARP discount reported on the forum and experienced while booking Pearl Panama Canal repositioning for Sept. 2015.

The Gem seems to have a gap between 4/21/16 & 4/30/16. Is that due to a charter, anyone know?

I'd say that this early that is highly unlikely - according to the cruising fish site, the cruise was available from 12/12 until yesterday so I'd say that it'll reemerge. (It is not that unusual that some cruises disappear for a while from the reservation system for various reasons.)
