Desert Cruizers Posted January 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2015 We found the small coffee pot only makes 1 cup at a time in our JS on the ROS, can't speak for a full suite
Sam.Seattle Posted January 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2015 If you are close to the Concierge lounge, it is worth a quick trip to grab a cup of freshly brewed and take it back to your suite.

spookwife Posted January 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Have been wondering if coffee and tea making facilities are provided in a grand suites. DW loves an early coffee . yeap plus a kettle for real tea. I make no promises claims as to the actual DRINKABILITY of said coffee. the CL is accessible 24/7 and has a machine that dispenses lattes, cappuccinos and other coffee beverages and has a much better tea selection

Ladysilver Posted January 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2015 The coffee pot would work fine if the coffee they provided was for one cup at a time, but it's not. Coffee is for a 10-cup coffee pot. Makes it totally useless. Never could understand that.
Folk Singer Posted January 13, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 13, 2015 True. The concierge lounge is our first stop on the way to breakfast. Ours as well.
Folk Singer Posted January 13, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) We are not overly fond of the Seattle Best Blend on the ship so we bring our own for the coffee pot. Or we just order breakfast to the suite and have several pots of hot water and make our own. Edited January 13, 2015 by Folk Singer
Rare John&LaLa Posted January 14, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 14, 2015 yeap plus a kettle for real tea. Desert Cruizers Posted January 14, 2015 #12 Share Posted January 14, 2015 We will either run to the WJ and grab a quick cup in the side room or the CL. Since we only made D last April entering our final cruise of a b2b2b we haven't had the opportunity to use the lounge often, but will do more this next Oct. He did not notice until the second morning. After that I dont use those coffee machines.

ETA... a little online research showed the packets contain 4 Tablespoons of grounds, so yeah, 2-4 cups. Using one of those for a 10 cup pot would be making coffee flavored water, not coffee. Little Buddy's Mom Posted January 14, 2015 #16 Share Posted January 14, 2015 We will either run to the WJ and grab a quick cup in the side room or the CL. Since we only made D last April entering our final cruise of a b2b2b we haven't had the opportunity to use the lounge often, but will do more this next Oct. The CL is not available to Diamond members. Only D+ and above and full suites can use the CL. On ships that have a DL, you can use that lounge or receive drink vouchers.
