All Things Ovation of the Seas!

Recommended Posts

There is a Cafe Promenade on the ship. That has been a 24 hour venue on other ships. Patti or Carol can confirm if that is the case on Quantum class.

I don't remember that being open after midnight but lots of things were not normal on the Quantum TA.

Café Promenade isn't 24 hours on Quantum.

It's open 6 a.m - 3 a.m. Note that it only offers a limited range of foods as on other ships i.e. basically a few types of sandwiches and cakes. Snacks only.

Sorrento's pizzeria is next door and open 2:30 p.m. 3 a.m. Though RCL pizza isn't the best...

On the plus size, the casino also occasionally has similar snacks brought out, to cater for the late night gamblers.

Hi yes the Music Hall appears to be still be in full swing on Quantum of the Seas, there is a video on YouTube showing the ship visiting various Chinese and Japanese ports of call - during one sequence it's clear to see the passengers dancing to abandon playing in the music hall. So what are we getting on Ovation ? It's far too large an area on two decks to not utilise..

Lovely bedroom area but can someone explain where the TV is????? Looks like there may be a fold down panel in the ceiling.

Surely in a room that size, you get the actors to come and play the parts live in front of you? :D

Royal no longer holds the traditional midnight buffet.

However, if you are asking if there will be food venus open at midnight, the answer is yes.

On my last cruise with the Mariner in Asia, they had the midnight buffet in the Windjammer and in the Casino, though choices were very limited to just Noodles, Rice and some meat selections..But maybe only on Asian sailings though..

That is possible. I had midnight supper on both Quantum and Mariner when sailing out of Singapore last year. Will see if its the same on Ovation and Voyager this year.
