She called it Wiilly and told it all about everything that was happening. It got really annoying after the first hour ... I think she was having a mid life crisis and thought it was cute... It wasn't

On our last cruise there was a woman on an excursion with us who pulled a large sex toy out of her purse and for the rest of the trip talked to it loudly, pushed it in people's faces and acted like a moron. Finally someone got really mad and words were exchanged but she would not put it away. I'm just glad there were no children on the excursion asking "What is that? "

We had a man on one of our cruises that was dressed as a baby, onesie, pacifier, bonnet, etc. Everyone laughed and asked why and he claimed he was on the ship with his buddies and he lost a bet.

Fast forward a few days and he was out by the pool in his bonnet and just a diaper and pacifier. He never had any "buddies" with him. Everyone soon figured out he had a fetish.

I thought he should have been told to get rid of the baby stuff while out of his cabin. He was around a lot of children and it just seem inappropriate. He dressed that way the entire cruise.

That's almost as bad as the lady being processed onto a cruise (NOT Princess) last week who was wearing a mini-skirt. Nothing wrong with that per se, but when she dropped something on the floor and bent over from the waist to pick it up it became obvious to those who happened to be looking in her direction that the mini-skirt was the only thing she was wearing between her waist and her knees!

Formal night in the dining room should have been interesting.

Probably just dressing to make it easier for the TSA pat down.

You know, I almost prefer the rudeness to what this thread has turned into!!!!

Almost, but, not quite. It has gotten weird, but, at the same time pretty funny.

The first time in my face, had I been on that excursion, would have been the last time she, or any other member of the excursion, would have seen the thing.:D

And to have the courtesy to hold the door open when someone is attempting to get on an elevator...particularly for anyone with mobility issues.

Thank you

My husband has Parkinson's and can be really slowwww. Most cruise mates are really understanding when we are trying to get on or off elevators. Believe me, we feel plenty bad holding things up. No way you can rush anyone with a handicap much less someone who is carrying a cane or using a walker, wheelchair or scooter.

Funny Roz! I have a problem on a Cruise ship when walking with my wife. She is handicapped and walks but has to swing her hips because her calves and thighs don't work. It is slow going but people will walk toward me and expect me to just move out of their way. I weigh 215 lb, I am solid, athletic and I don't budge and they will ram into me. I just put my weight into my shoulder and they look really shocked. It happens about 3 or 4 times a day at least. Women are the worst too and I'm not coming down on women in general. These people just expect you to move period. It happens in grocery stores also. Women will push a cat down the aisle and if I don't move they will run into me. I just stop before they hit me making it their move, then saying "Excuse me for being!" On Diamond we had a couple get mad because we were seated with them on formal night. Wouldn't speak to us. BWAHAHA!

Okay! I concede! Not concur but I do know when to give up!

I would have commanded my Service Dog to grab the "thing" and, well, he's a Lab, you know what they're capable of doing to any given "thing!"

How ya been Roz, hadn't been on much since last fall. Did a Caribbean, Cozumel, Belize cruise in Feb and planning on a 24 Repositioning from St Petersburg to NY.

You're doing just fine. I love how if we don't cruise every few months we don't think we're doing anything! Your Repositioning sounds wonderful! I'm looking forward to my Princess, Loveboat cruise onboard the Pacific Princess, Dec. 3rd for 14 days. The cruise has been sold-out for quite some time!

Since all the cast from the show are still alive we have no idea if all of them will show-up for the spectacle or just Captain Stubbing and Isaac. It'll be fun to see what Princess is planning.

Roz, DH and I will be on the 50th anniversary cruise and also the r/t Panama cruise next November with you and Horton. We are really looking forward to meeting you both. :D

My DH is going to outlive me because when we encounter rude people who push ahead of others (not just us), I fume about it while he ignores it. I'm an activist type who wants to improve the situation, he's the laissez faire type who says it will all even itself out someday.

I'm trying hard to be more like him, but so far....

You and I must be a lot a like! I drive my DH mad by taking up every cause for everyone but myself. I too fume about it and he just rolls his eyes at me and holds me back! :p

Poor kitty :). I know what you mean though. I sometimes think I have acquired superpowers as the Invisible Man when people walk right into me in public. Sometimes they are texting (no excuse), but not always.

Well, Horton might not want to do that if he had some idea of where it might have been before. Ew. I'll ask him what he thinks when I see him on Dec, 3rd. ;)

I wrote about some rude passengers in a review I did.

In short:

- A horrible lady that would swear and call children names, splash at them in the pool and intentionally do things to annoy/upset them.

- A rude lady in the casino who told the staff member who gave her back her cruise card that she dropped 'Go away, I'm speaking with a friend'.

- A lady who thought the dress code didn't apply to her. Highly inappropriate clothes every night in the restaurant and ignored staff who asked her to please wear something more appropriate.

- A guy who clicked his fingers at wait staff , never said please or thank you and spoke to them like he was addressing a dog. He called a waiter 'dumb' one night and we felt so bad for him, we ended up apologising for his behaviour and gave him an extra big tip!

I will never understand how people can have the audacity to treat other people like that, especially poorly paid staff who are just trying to make your holiday special.
