Grandeur Junior Suite with pole

I was checking out pics of Junior suites on Grandeur - and noticed some had a big pole right by the corner of the bed. Does anyone know how many of these there are on Grandeur or what cabin numbers have a pole - prefer not to have one. Thanks!!

We have stayed in one of the JS on Grandeur that had the pole but I don't remember the stateroom number. The pole was no problem at all, we hardly noticed it after the first day.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about it if you do end up with the pole.

I have been in 4 JS's on the Grandeur/Enchantment (Sister ships) Only 1 did not have the pole. Out of curiosity I looked in several of them on turn around day (I was doing a back to back) and most of them (at least 2/3) had them.. Some were right by the beds, and some were a little bit between the bed and chairs, but - most of the time they were there.

You are correct, they don't have the poles.

We had a pole in our JS once on EN, but so far not on GR. It really makes no difference at all and I wouldn't reject a JS just because it has a pole. It literally takes up no room at all.

Just search this site for pole references and you'll see you're far from the only one. Every single thread I have ever seen on the subject has the same jokes, so, yeah, talk about beating a dead horse.

Had a JS on Grandeur. Had a pole. Took pics of all the women of our group hanging on the pole. Other than that, no problem at all. Not worth getting all "wrapped around the pole" over. :)

The only two Aft JS with large balconies are the corners. The ones between are a bit deeper (I think) but not very wide. We've had the corner aft 3x and love it! The two corner acts also have a large walk-in closet.
