Better yet, thank goodness you didn't have a novel.

CruiserBruce Posted November 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Of course this is all going to depend on the length of your cruise. We rarely go on cruises less than 14 days. We also don't spend a lot on board. But with a daily listing of hotel service charges, and the couple of OBC we usually have, it is hard to be less than 2 pages. Our most recent 17 day on Dawn Princess had a 2 1/2 page final bill. Edited November 3, 2015 by CruiserBruce

I sailed them in August and had no idea they had such a name for their 'bills'. :)
KARTI1955 Posted November 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Carnival refers to the billing/onboard account as Guest Folio. I think the most I have had was one & one half pages and that was when I went a little spa crazy.
CruiserBruce Posted November 3, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 3, 2015 So...... you are saying it is NCL?I sailed them in August and had no idea they had such a name for their 'bills'. :) No, have no idea who calls their final bill that. I was just pointing out this is an apples and oranges thing. If we did a 3 or 4 day cruise, I am sure we could have a pretty short final bill. But as we never cruise for less than 14 days at a pop, we couldn't win this "competition". Yes, I know it's not a competition.

I passed a stateroom yesterday morning and the folio looked like a small pamphlet! That is one reason we prepay our gratuities so the daily per person charge is not shown. On the long cruises we take it saves a couple pages and makes the bill easier to check.
Nebr.cruiser Posted November 3, 2015 #13 Share Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I'm not sure we've ever had one more than a page, and if we did it was on a line that charges the tips every day. We prefer to just pre-pay them. We don't spend much on board and often have quite a bit of OBC. Edited November 3, 2015 by Nebr.cruiser
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 3, 2015 #14 Share Posted November 3, 2015 On average one or two pages. Keith
Dcoy Posted November 3, 2015 #15 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Mine was several pages after my 94 day World Cruise but the amount I owed was 17 cents. I had a large on board credit when I started and I had put some extra cash down to cover my soda package. It cost them more to process the credit card charge than they got back.
