Buffet dinner on Royal Princess

Could you provide a link to where you see any listing of dining hours on the Princess website? There used to be a PDF document with a table of each ship's dining venues and hours but it was removed sometime last year; if you have found it that would be helpful.

6pm ( or 1800) is prime dining time so the buffet will be open. It is open until at least 2200. You will want to check the patter on your particular voyage for the times of operation.

During the evening dinner hours you will also be able to get casual food at Alfredo's or up at the burger/ hotdog grill or the crab shack ( on evenings it is offered).

If the buffet is closed and you want a snack you can get something at the International Cafe ( 24 hours) or via Room Service.

There are plenty of food options :) enjoy your cruise.

I've read on Princess's website that the buffet restaurant is not open after 1800. Is this accurate? Seems odd. If it is, what other casual evening dinner venues are there? Thank you.

Absolutely not correct. Really weird that you saw this on the princess.com website. The buffet is open continuously from 5:30am until 11pm. We are not normally dinner buffet people but on the Royal, often go to the buffet for dinner. It's that good. :)

The buffet is divided into two areas although it is hard to see that. The front part is the Horizon Bistro and the back part is the Horizon Court. It is not well labeled or known. At dinner one will be open while the other one is closed. One or the other or both are open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Dinner is always served in one or the other - usually the back part. So the buffet is open for dinner.

Since they serve most of the same foods that are in the main dining rooms, it is pretty common for folks to grab some additional food later in the evening in the buffet. As others have pointed out generally only part of the buffet is open, but they are always open late.
