I saw on the daily events one bar had a mojito flights tasting. Also, isn't there a wine bar that has wine and beer tastings? We are going in 3 weeks, and have a Premium Beverage Package. Do you know if the flights are included in the package, or are those extra? BTW - we LOVE following your posts and pictures. Keep up the great job, and enjoy the rest of your cruise!

Not included, but you can make your own tastings with your package...just one at a time :)

That's a sad looking list of activities. Most of them are just sales opportunities. How times have changed.:(

I'm glad you said that.

On our recent cruise on the Eclipse I sat with the "Today" and counted how many of the "activities" were really just selling things and it was appalling. :(

Day 6 - Sea day - weather great & in the high 80's [emoji41]

Well we are now on our way back to Miami after 3 great ports for the end of this cruise, but not before we complete 2 sea days so it's not all bad! [emoji16] plus we are staying on for another week so I guess we are coming toward the end of the cruise but not as you know it!! [emoji4]

Currently sitting by the pool enjoying another day of sun & relaxation but have just been informed we have diverted towards San Juan as we have a medical emergency on board that requires an evacuation, fingers crossed to poor individual is ok and makes a full recovery!

The helicopter is currently right by the side of the ship as they are doing the evacuation from deck 15 so very close indeed,

Last night -

I'm sure It's getting boring by now to read but again we had another great meal in the MDR along with great service, we are in select dining and have been lucky enough to have been in the same section every night and had great service from everyone there [emoji51]

We again had a few martinis & went to the show as there was a comedian on (Rondel Sheridan) not sure on the spelling but he was very funny [emoji23]

After donating our usual amount to the much needy casino survival fund we headed off to bed! [emoji42]

Back to today -

We had breakfast in the elite lounge for the first time this cruise and to be honest it was a little disappointing... Our only other experience was on the eclipse where they had quite a decent spread for a self service option but here it was just a small menu offering of cold plates & drink options! [emoji15] but please rest assured we won't go hungry!! [emoji12]

Nothing else really planned for today so it could be a slow/short report tomorrow so I might need to have another big night just to liven things up a bit!! It's chic night tonight so I will try to sneak some pics of our fellow guests to show what the mix is like...

I do have some pics/videos of the evacuation and will post in another post as I know some done like that kind of thing, but where I generally don't like seeing this stuff both people that left did walk to the basket themselves so hopefully it was just a precaution and they will be fine! [emoji4] just think it might be interesting to see how the operation happened! It was very efficient & dealt with very professionally by all the celebrity crew & the US coast guard

Looking at the daily, I see the daily drink is 8.25$. The bar menu I have seen other places on CC shows a Bahama Mama under the standard package...Can you provide any reflection on this? I have the classic package..looks like Im out of luck for drink of the day as they have all been priced at $0.25 above $8.

That's really a nasty trick to play. :(

Mr. T

I'm very interested in hearing about your B2B experience in Miami because we're thinking of doing one next year.

We've done it in other ports and it was very easy to get off with disembarking passengers in the morning, walk around the port and then board around 1 or 2 with new passengers.

But you never know how different ports handle it.

Are you planning on spending some time in Miami or just doing the debark-embark thing immediately?

It must have changed recently because I know I've had a few Bahama Mamas on the classic package. I will be most upset if it's not on the list :(.

We just sailed on the Eclipse and I brought home the Todays so thought I'd check to see what they were charging in Feb. but there are no prices at all listed for the daily specials so I couldn't tell you. (We always upgrade to Premium for the better selection of wine so that .25 wouldn't have affected us.)

Any chance they've raised the limit for classic?

If not, it's just nasty to put drinks .25 above the limit.

Also notice they no longer print what was won in the casino (daily totals)? The casino seemed different somehow. (tighter) :(

Hi Tony, I have a challenge for you. In fact, if you can answer this I promise not to mention your Gooner shirt again!!

My wife has seen the bit in today's programme about teeth whitening for "only $149"!!:eek: Any chance that you could find out whether they offer such treatment cheaper on a port day? I know from previous that spa services are discounted during quiet periods like while in port.

A task for Mrs T, maybe?!! :):):

Hi,

We had our pre-B2B meeting earlier today and as we are just planning on staying onboard while in Miami the process will be as follows...

Meet at the ensemble lounge @ 10.15am to collect our new sea pass cards, once we are all there & we are informed customs are ready for us we will head off the ship together & go through customs/passport control and then head back onboard, hopefully this will be as simple as described... I will update once completed [emoji4]

Hi Phil,

Funny you should ask this as I've just been to enquire about this offer...

It was actually offered the rest of the week at $199 so I guess today's offer at $149 is the special offer! [emoji15]

I'll let you know if I can find anything else out [emoji4]
