oceanlov1 Posted March 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Hi……. Does the Emerald have room service breakfast? Haven't been on Princess for several years. Carnival has the breakfast card for continental breakfast room service and was wondering if Princess has something similar. Thanks Happy Sailing!!! reedprincess Posted March 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2016 Hi……. Does the Emerald have room service breakfast? Haven't been on Princess for several years. Carnival has the breakfast card for continental breakfast room service and was wondering if Princess has something similar. Thanks Happy Sailing!!! Yes, all Princess ships have room service available for breakfast. You'll have a card to hang on your door the night before, indicate time for delivery, and what you want. Continental breakfast mainly, with a breakfast sandwich (English muffin, egg, ham, cheese) for hot selection. Lots of people say they are able to write in eggs or bacon or such and have it delivered also. The sandwich is pretty good, selection of pastures, fruits, yogurt, juice coffee, rtc.. catwoman6226 Posted March 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2016 We were on the Emerald a few weeks ago, and did room service breakfast every morning. They were very prompt, but we did notice as the week went on that we received fewer and fewer of what we had asked for - to the point where on the final two days we had two pats of butter and two strawberry jams for four croissants - and no fruit, despite it being ordered. Can't beat enjoying a cup of hot tea and a croissant on the balcony while gazing over the ocean or a beautiful port, though.
Cabogirl13 Posted April 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2016 You will have the card to put out with continental breakfast and the (in)famous hot sand which. We ordered ours daily and enjoyed on the balcony. A few times one of us popped down to the IC and grabbed a few other morning treats. We also noticed lasted in the week we missed a few a things, but upon calling they were promptly delivered. Of note we had ours delivered early 2 times, one of the two was an hour and a half early and startled us awake, but the plus side was we started enjoying the day earlier. We would do this rather than fight our way through the garden cafe if it was decent. £7.95 is a small price for a full breakie on our balcony!

Nor is there a garden Cafe... Room service is included in your fare, hot breakfast item is the egg sandwich otherwise it's mainly continental breakfast items like danishes, fruits, yogurt, coffee/tea, juice, cereal... Only full suites have complete room service breakfast. Many people state they've been able to write in items for breakfast such as bacon or scrambled eggs and it's been delivered, but no guarantee... shredie Posted July 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Hi……. Carnival has the breakfast card for continental breakfast room service and was wondering if Princess has something similar. The Princess choices are fewer. (I don't order the hot sandwich anymore because it has arrived soggy too many times.)

reedprincess Posted July 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Pizza is $3.00 ;) Perhaps I should have been clearer, and stated "there is no room service charge for BREAKFAST items on Princess" - somehow I thought that was implied as the thread was regarding breakfast room service. Either way, the poster was on the wrong forum...

mmckm Posted July 23, 2016 #13 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Is there an expanded room service breakfast menu for suites? You can order anything from the breakfast menu from the MDR.
reedprincess Posted July 23, 2016 #14 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Is there an expanded room service breakfast menu for suites? Yes, as noted in post above, full suites have a full breakfast room service option, anything served in the MDR is available, your room steward will give you a menu if you opt for it. There will also be a small special "suite" breakfast menu with two or three specialty items. You also have the option of Sabatini's/Crown Grill (depends on ship) for full suite breakfast wirh mimosas, specialty coffees, and all sorts of delicious options... Enjoy.
