Yes, if you put it in at an angle, and don't put much else in the safe.

I take my iPAD on every cruise and have never put it in the safe. I leave it on the desk all the time and have never had a problem.:):)

We just leave ours on the charger when we aren't using them.

You could put it in your suit case and lock your suitcase.

Thanks for the idea to lock iPad in suitcase. Had not thought of that! I already have great TSA combination locks.

I'm another cruiser that doesn't put my iPad in the safe. I leave it as well as my laptop out on the desk hooked up to the charger.

I've also left cash, and thousands of dollars of camera gear just sitting around, never had anything taken.

 

The cash was a mistake, but still wasn't touched.

If you are worried than put the iPad in the safe.

 

In my case I just put mine in a draw.

Between my photo equipment, 2 pair of binoculars, my computers and other electronics I travel w maybe $6000 or more worth of equipment which I leave in the room in any place that is convenient. Since we usually take an outside view room, this means that we keep the most of the stuff on the wide window sill. Nothing has ever been stolen or touched. Even my wife who is always afraid that people are going to steal her stuff has no problem w this.

 

The only thing that we keep in the safe is our passports, money and my wife's jewelry. The jewelry is not especially valuable monetarily but it means a lot to her and it is also a convenient place to keep it.

Yes. Both the 10" and the smaller one (we travel with 2). Ten inch on an angle, with wallet, etc behind.
