Anthem Stowaway Piano Player

Does the Anthem still have the stowaway piano player? Seems like something cool and different.

We hoped to find it on our June 30 sailing, but never did. Could have been there. It's a big ship.

I think he's been moved to the Harmony. I didn't see him when I was on the Anthem in April, but then again, I totally forgot about it and didn't look for him.

Check here for photos (scroll down). A guy with a piano who pops up at the most strange places you can think of - like the elevator. He´s taking requests.

Strange he wasn't kept for Anthems US home port cruises.

Maybe he was a REAL stowaway and RCCL threw him off :D:D:D!?

He was hard to miss :)

 

They were constantly moving the piano to different locations, and, in doing so, they were sounding a beep-beep which was quite loud and very distinctive.

 

I'm surprised he didn't "cross the Pond" :confused:

He was on our Anthem cruise in November (inaugural Caribbean sailing). I really did not understand the point! A little too silly for my taste. He popped up in several locations.

I spoke to the piano player on the Anthem, and he said that there were "technical difficulties" so they did not continue the "stowaway" thing. He sort of told me what happened, but wasn't very specific. Something to do with a fire, but I can't really recall what he said.

 

So don't look for him on the Anthem.

 

I will look for one on the Harmony, just in case they decide to add one there. :)

I remember a press release about entertainment on Harmony which mentioned the Stoaway Piano but during our Med cruise nothing...
