I'm kind of excited about this. We've done the Port Canaveral/Nassau/Freeport itinerary on the Pride before and will be doing it again in 2/2018 (we had to pick a date that worked for our friends who are coming with us). I've read some good things about Princess Cays and it will be nice to visit a different port.

Worth a try for some. But having been there, I don't see anything more spectacular. There was a volleyball sand area by the beach. Some souvenir shops just after tender port. Princess BBQ lunch was good. We just rented a clam shell for rest after a swim.Did not rent the cabana.

Would be nice to have someplace different to go. Since the cruise line will control all excursions surprised they didnt do this years ago.

The food at the BBQ comes from whatever ship you're on, so it won't be the same.

I was hoping it would be just like HMC and were SOOOO excited but the more I research PC, the more I find it is not.

I agree. In fact, of all the cruse lines' private islands, Princess Cays is my least favorite.

 

Hopefully Carnival won't do this....but Princess shuts down the bars on PC at 2:00. It's ridiculous.
