I had the same problem and just posted the answer.  You go to allstaterewards.com, sign in and the place to enter codes is at the top.

THis is not correct.  Because RidgebackKing created his account online (and not on the app), he will not be able to sign-in at allstaterewards.com.  Read post 4323 above, which explains the problem and what RidgebacKing will have to do.

Got it situated. The problem was I created my account on the desktop, which didn't allow for choosing the account type. The failures to create a different account on the app was because I was using the same phone number (different userid, email).  I got on the online chat with allstate technical support and had them delete the account I created online and was then able to create it via the phone app, which let me choose a DriveWise account (even though the chat person was emphatic that you had to be an Allstate policy holder to create an account).

Anyway, I'm all set now and got it up to  a lowly 43,800 points so far 🙂

Yes it was all on the Miracle November 18th 5 day to Cabo and Ensenada. Carnival would have refunded to another gift card but then I have to make sure I get that card when they leave it on my porch. Much easier to just cash out and save Carnival the FEDEX 2nd day air package they always use to refund me gift cards.

I've seen a few people say they put a stop to the casino cash-out trick. Maybe it's back, or maybe their system is distinguishing between the OBC they've been giving away and other sources. I can see where they wouldn't want people cashing out free OBC, so maybe it's preventing that, but allowing the rest. Too bad your friend didn't try it. Wouldn't been a good test.

In my experience, they have their usual customer service dept., which probably includes tech support, for policy holders, and then a separate customer service for Allstate Rewards. It seems as if many of the regular customer service reps. don't know a whole lot about Rewards. You're not the only one they've told we have to be customers to use Rewards.

For future reference, Allstate Rewards has a separate number: 1-800-642-2609

It can be found using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the Allstate Rewards site.

I've never done it in the past, so I can't compare to what you used to be able to do, but in November, I loaded $100 to play on the machines I played for a bit but when I stopped, my balance for the machines was $90.  The next day I went to the cashier and got the $90 back in cash.

I didn't have any OBC, so this was just from loading card that was being paid with my gift card.

The last time I ordered the plastic Carnival gift cards from Allstate the time from order to delivery was 12 days (November 11 to November 23).

Yeah not concerned about plastic one it's the eGift 1000 one I am wondering why I have not got that one. How long does an email take?

You should have had the egift card in 5 minutes. Did you check spam folder?

How do I add the e-gift cards to my sign and sail account? Can this be done when I check in online? I don't want to add a debit/credit card.

You cannot add the gift card ahead of time.  You can use the gift card ahead of time to pay for your deposit, pay for the cruise or pay for extras (like Cheers or Internet or Spa).  Basically any time on the website when  you are supposed to enter a credit card, there will be an option to use the gift card.  As far as getting it on your sign and sail, you do that onboard at guest services on the ship.  My suggestion is not to try to do it right away, you have the entire cruise, and wait until there is not a crowd at guest services.  At check-in, before boarding the ship, they will go over the final check in stuff and you might be able to give it to them at that time but I personally would not risk it.  Check in like normal and then just go to guest services on board and they can add it to your onboard account.

as N6uqqq says, it should take no more than 5 minutes.  Mine was almost instantaneous.  However, I also bought a Wal-Mart gift card and it was not part of the e-mail I received.  I e-mailed Allstate Rewards customer services and explained it was missing and that afternoon they sent me the gift card information again.  So my advice is that if you have not received your Carnival ecards yet, e-mail Allstate Rewards customer service and give them the order number and explain you did not get the e-mail and they will send it.

For me at least, for the cards that I did receive right after checking out, it was a link to a site and on that site I had to click a button to get the actual ecard.  There was also a link on that site to get a list of all the ecards ordered and their numbers (minus the Wal-Mart one).  It was pretty simple and neat.

I just noticed that the $900 one says Unavailable under status and the $90 on says it was shipped via USPS so neither appear to be an e-card.  You may want to double check your actual order and charges.

I took that as the status was unavailable because I did pay for it.

I checked with my bank and the purchase was completed.

I have searched all of my email, spam, trash, promotions & social folders included. All I have is the confirmation.

I have contacted Allstate Rewards, surprised answer by a human after 3rd ring, she created a ticket on it and said I will hear back in 3 business days.

Fingers crossed....this is for our drink package

Thank you. This is very helpful. Do you recommend having physical cards for guest services or will a print out of the e-card work?

What I do with my gift cards is use them as I go, when my balance starts increasing I go to a kiosk, usually right by guest services, and I think there is usually more than 1, just have to find out where it is, and I load what I need to catch my acct up. Or you can just wait until the last day to load them, that way you never have to wait in line at guest services. I don't think it matters whether they are physical cards or egift cards. Easy peasy.

Both the actual card and a printout work.  On one cruise  I just wrote down the card numbers and pins on a piece of paper and handed that paper to the guest services person.  That worked too.  And as Nascartim points out, if you are lucky you can avoid guest services and load the cards on the kiosks.  This did not always work in the past, but seems to work on more and more Carnival ships these days.

The Status Not Available notation just means there's no available information regarding processing the order since it's an eCard. For the physical cards, that's where it'd let you know the status of the order. It might say Processing or something like that, then eventually shows Shipped.

Some people have had experiences with a grumpy GS rep. who doesn't like having to enter eGift cards manually, but I think that's rare, and they still have to do it whether they like it or not. So in the end, it's your own personal preference. The eCards are nice sometimes when you need one quick before the cruise, maybe to catch a sale or something.

You should've gotten an email with the ecard right before or after the receipt. It is immediate delivery. This is what the email looks like
