Harmony mini-cruise Sept 12 - who's still going?

Does anyone know what time harmony will be sailing tomorrow evening, we know boarding is 5pm but wondering what time sail out time is ??

There is nothing, even on the RCI website, at this stage to answer that question. You will probably be aware the captain on board has announced a noon arrival today if the authorities allow entry to port. So, it will be 1pm, at earliest, before disembark can commence and therefore 5pm embarkation for new passengers sounds tight to me. Anyway, almost certainly the ship will only be half full and there will be some B2B'ers remaining on board, so the ship will take time to board new passengers.

Given the above, my guess (and it is only a guess) is it would not be possible to fully embark and sail any earlier than 9pm and they may make it later to give time for stragglers. Make early contact today with the ship, or RCI office, and keep them fully briefed re your travel arrangements and expected arrival. They are in no way obligated to wait for late self flight passengers but, given all the circumstances around this cruise, I believe they will be more accommodating.

Good luck!

Another thought, a plan B...which may be impossible/unattractive to you. Anthem of the Seas sails from the New Jersey port, across the river from NYC, on thursday for a 9 night Canada/NE cruise. She is a fantastic ship, like Harmony and only a couple of years old!

I have no idea what your employment and holiday situation is, but I am a director within a public sector organisation in Scotland. If ANY employee of mine, especially for a honeymoon, had encountered what you have in the past week I would without question sanction additional leave to have them enjoy their long awaited vacation. Maybe something to consider, and get on the blower if you cannot get to Miami.

Again, good luck...I feel your pain.

Yeah we were already on anthem in the past and really liked the ship but it's not possible to travel next week and we were already meant to do b2b cruises for our honeymoon but we had to cancel the second week due to my father in law going into hospital this coming Monday(he cancelled hospital for our wedding) so I don't think we could let him cancel again ;)but thanks for the advice. And if worse comes to the worse and we don't make it on board today we are going to go on harmony in October. Thanks for the advice though. imagepng

They probably meant this morning's flights. If you look throughout the day today a lot seem to be scheduled:

There are still a lot of cancellations.

Edit to add: That link will update and change as more flights are cancelled.

The following was posted (at 11.05am local time), on another thread, by someone on board Harmony. I would suggest that means it cannot dock before 1.30pm at earliest:

Captain on the Harmony just announced the 3D scanning of the port is complete and it will take two hours for them to analyze the results. He says we will have an update then as far as timing of entering the port. Getting closer!

Somebody posted on another thread that they're at the airport and it looks like 70% to 80% of the flights are cancelled.

Nearly all flights were cancelled we checked with all airlines and no airline had two seats available,,, rang Royal twice to check the departure time of harmony and both times the girls were checking for 5/6 minutes and when I said we got the email to say boarding was at 5 and I was just wondering what times departure they couldn't be sure what time departure was and told me to be at the port between 12-30 and 3 to be safe 😁 Delta really tries hard to get us on flights but it just didn't happen

James, sorry to hear you weren't able to get a flight!

Thank you and I know it's a bit of a bummer but worse things happen in life like look at all the destruction this irma has caused to peoples homes and even taking some life's so I guess missing a cruise isn't really important when you look at them families effected.

Was the first flight in this morning to Miami but no luggage. Waiting for luggage now actually looks like we will make it. Took three trys to land yesterday at Atlanta close Airport after we got in. What a trip!

Glad you made it. I know that Delta worked very hard to get everything up and running. I saw that they added an additional flight today most likely to make sure there were seats for pax who had been booked on flights that were cancelled. Flight wasn't available for booking and it went out with a lot of open seats as did some flights after yours.

Bon Voyage and I hope your luggage soon joins you.

Sitting in the terminal waiting to board Harmony of the Seas. Maybe 50 people here so far.

Only 50 people? Whoa, I wonder how many are going to be on your cruise....Any idea what time you are sailing tonight?

Hope you have a wonderful time!
