crdtrnr Posted December 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2005 I love the ceasar salad, expecially from the pizza place - it tastes like there is a touch of garlic, maybe. The mushroom soup..to die for! Tiramasu! So much food and so little time!

slabeaume Posted December 9, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2005 I was impressed with all their meals! But I'll have to say the thing that caught my attention the most was the pumpkin soup. Try it, you'll like it!
Arizona Travelers Posted December 9, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Grand Marnier souffle is the best! We have never had it anywhere else.

Hojo's redbeard Posted December 9, 2005 #11 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Escargot. Cruise lines somehow do it better than streetside restaurants.

Jasonsterling Posted December 9, 2005 #16 Share Posted December 9, 2005 I love the strawberry bisque. I always order two bowls of that. The roast beef and brie sandwiches from room service are fantastic as well. Hands down of course was the entire meal at the Point restaurant on the Conquest. That was one of the better meals I've had anywhere.

texas greeneyes Posted December 9, 2005 #19 Share Posted December 9, 2005 The filet mignon wit gorgonzola butter, as previously mentioned, is superb. The French onion soup with the puff pastry crust was quite good. BLT's from room service are a great midnight snack...but the vine-ripened cream of tomato soup was to die for!! I would have purchased a Carnival cookbook just to get that one recipe, but it was not included. :(

born2crooz Posted December 9, 2005 #24 Share Posted December 9, 2005 How about the world famous Decadence of Chocolate (used to be Chocolate Decadence)? It was still on the menu after all these years when we were on the Triumph. A rich, chocolate mousse/pate drizzled with pureed raspberries. My wife bought the cookbook and made it for me, once (it's a lot of work) but it tasted exactly the same, DELICIOUS!!
airhead22 Posted December 9, 2005 #25 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Maybe I am wierd but I loved the bread pudding. Another was the strawberry bisque and the creme bruele(sp). I had never had any of these and enjoyed them all. I have led a sheltered life.
