My understanding is that those ports are no longer functional. They used to work around 10 years ago, and I don't recall exactly when they went out of service.

The prices are in East caribbean dollars. $1 ecd = approximately $.37 usd.

Thank you for sharing that. I wondered how I didn't go over after ordering the Club Sandwich and a drink I expected to pay an extra $10. But the waitress said I still had plenty if I wanted a couple more drinks.

They will probably not start offering the drink card until day 4 at the earliest.

 

 

 

Asked guest services about the drink card and was told it's 10 drinks for $85+18% and you can get the card anytime from any of the bars on the ship.

Made it safely back onboard, again less than 10 minutes back at $6 this time but I still gave $8. Very reasonable for just one person. The monkeys were out at the pier. I do not like the monkeys :( btw if you have never been, the monkey owners do expect a tip if they put the monkey on you and if you get your picture with the monkey.

 

I'm now chilling in one of the two libraries waiting to meet with Next Cruise

 

Taxi station, just let them know you need a taxi and they will set the rate and call the driver over.

 

RCCL had towel check out station right off the ship.

Another tip: I pack an empty water bottle and Starbucks packets to save from buying sodas. There is complimentary lemonade, in sweet tea, and fruit drinks but I like the Starbucks.

Next Cruise didn't work out like I hoped and I lost $20 in the casino :(.

 

I enjoy watching the Flo Rider instructors and participants. The instructors are really funny and patient with the guest.

I travel solo usually once a year for my "moms week off". Sometimes I take my mother or sister but I enjoy solo cruising. Doing what I want when I want and not worrying about what others want to do.

 

I have early dining in main dining room. I dined last night with two other couples who were very nice. I like early in case dinner is not good then I can always go to buffet.

 

Tonight is formal night which is not my thing, so I'm going to the windjammer buffet, it Asian cuisine theme which hopefully will be good.

Windjammer is super busy, I guess no one else wanted to dress up either.
