In over 20 odd cruises, never been in anything but a mini suite or suite. Wow the bathrooms are SMALL! lol

Met our cabin steward. Such a nice guy. He has worked for Princess for over 18 years. Looks tired. I just don’t have the heart to complain about him. So, I’ve wiped it down and will deal with it. He just works too hard.

Okay, I get it but I still would put some notes in your survey about the room status. I guess we'll have that same steward then unless he's going home soon? Thanks for the info. on the mattresses.

Seas and winds are whipping up and around today. They actually were putting the netting over the spa pool earlier as most of the water was splashing out. They have also tied down lots of chairs on the upper deck. Guess we are do for not great weather. Tomorrow may be raining in Roatan. We can hear the wind howling.

Today was Pub Lunch which was nice.

The Sanctuary started off a bit rough as there were almost no crew for the first part of the day. But by afternoon and tea time, it was back to having a few people work up there.

Beautiful day at sea today.

I did not know I would become so friendly with a shower curtain!!! LOL.

Make sure the bartender in the Wheelhouse does his “magic trick” for you. It’s a fun way to spend a few minutes trying to figure it all out.

Came back to the cabin last night and lo and behold....new mattresses! Much better.

Today was Roatan. HOT!!! Enjoying walking over to the beach area. Did try some shrimp ceviche but will say it was really pico de gallo with a few shrimp in it. Not bad but not worth the price paid.

Late lunch back on board at the IC. The watermelon salad is so freshing, love it. Also had the Thai beef salad which was very good. Hubby had the clam chowder. Don’t want to eat much as we are dining at the Crown Grill tonight.

Went to the Marrigage show and it’s nice that they changed up the questions a bit. The women had a hard time coming up with answers to the questions about their husband. Tough questions. Corey is funny as heck and I really enjoyed how he did the game last night. Watched the magician for a few minutes, packed in Explorers. He was okay. The couple only married 3 3/4 years won! Sad to find out that those 30 years of marriage and up were put in the “older group”. How did I get here?!! In my mind I’m only in my 30’s not the 56 that I turned on 2/3!!

There are things I miss about the Regal and things I’m happy to have back on here. Wish I could put the two ships together! Wheelhouse is great and I enjoy that they do live music in there, that Explorers and Club Fusion are also used. I hate going to events in Princess live and enjoy it here. Had fun FaceTiming our friends (who we traveled with in Dec) while they are at sea on the Regal.

Now the balconies on here are great. I forgot how large the balconies were on Caribe deck.

Dinner at Crown Grill. Amazing! From service to food!

Will say that there are guys here in shorts. I’m not one that cares about that at all. Just know it’s discussed here.

The ship is really swaying!

We were also on Caribe deck for our cruise last October and had a similar experience with cleanliness. Laziest room steward we've ever had on any cruise line. We even had to beg for the topper that joins the two singles into a double bed. He'd been with Princess for years and we felt too intimidated to complain. Did in the post cruise survey though.

Top deck is closed off so they have moved the parties inside. We are rocking and some people are having issues walking.

For some reason the ship is warm tonight. The casino was very warm and very packed. The bar at Cronners was also warm as is our cabin

I won a whole $8.45 at the casino tonight! Guess I get a margarita in Cozumel tomorrow. I have no clue what to really do in the casino. Since we got a casino offer after our last cruise we thought we would give it a try again this sailing.

I will put the cabin steward on the survey. Our cabin stewards are usually so happy even though we all know they are so overworked. This guy just looks so very unhappy as he walks the hallways. Complete opposite of our cabin steward in December on the Regal.

We took the "move over" offer for this cruise, so THANK YOU for doing this live thread. It is almost as if we are on board with you!

I loved Corey last year on Coral, he is awesome and has fantastic team working with him. TBH, if I bothered to check who the cruise director was I might not have taken the "move over" ;)

There are 1060 new cruisers on this cruise. Only 241 elites. No wonder I’m getting my laundry back in one day!

Many of the new cruisers are saying they won’t cruise princess again. I tell them not to judge it by this ship or sailing.

There seems to be some air conditioning issues on board. No only was our cabin very uncomfortable but we just spoke with another couple in the sanctuary and they said theirs was as well.

Thank you so much for your updates!! SO glad to hear the mattresses are replaced as we will be in the cabin next to you!

I really hope that cabin steward is going home soon. That's one thing that is usually the best in the industry - Princess' cabin stewards!

Happy belated birthday too! (y) February is a great month for a birthday! :D

Wow, so sorry to hear all the issues going on with the Crown...our experiences on the Crown were just fabulous so I just don't get the differences...but I would call that steward into my cabin and show him all issues...then I would call guest services to share same issues...then hopefully all will be taken care of...if not, be persistant, and know this is not the norm of a Princess cruise.

You should have removed tips the minute you noticed. They are told you do that. Bet he would have cleaned the place up.
