Kenosha Cruiser Posted February 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Was happy hour still a daily event in the Wheelhouse Bar? We will be on the Ruby on March 10th for a California coastal cruise. Can you also tell us who the Captain and Cruise Director was for your cruise. Appreciate your time. Cheers - Ken & Darlene

MsSoCalCruiser Posted February 22, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Yes. I am not finding anything about Happy Hour. I'm finding the drink of the day but that's it. I will keep reading to see if I can find something.

Would I find it in the Patters? Thanks for checking! How did you like Peter-John? We met him on our Royal Princess cruise last April. He was one of 3 art directors with one guy at a higher rank than them. His personality is perfect for a CD! travlngar Posted February 22, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2018 Thank you for posting! That's probably why I can't find anything in the patters :( I can confirm that there was never any BOGO offered at anytime on this cruise either in the afternoon or late evening hours. We were on the Ruby in late November for a 10 day Sea of Cortez and it was being offered then so it has changed since then.

MsSoCalCruiser Posted February 22, 2018 Author #15 Share Posted February 22, 2018 A couple of questions: what movies were playing? We’re the sea days chilly? Hello Pam.... It was cool and we had sprinkles in Cabo. We had warm weather the day we left Cabo. On the way back, IT WAS FREEZING!!! It was so cold in the Horizon Court that I could not stand it. But we had a wonderful time! Movies.... Battle of the sexes (2017) Mark Felt: The man who brought down the White House Murder on the Orient express (2017) Thor: Ragnarok Eddie the Eagle Grease The Lego Batman movie Beauty and the beast Guardians of the galaxy volume two The Princess bride The shape of water Three billboards outside ebbing, Missouri Please forgive all of the grammatical errors as I am having problems with this webpage and my iPad making auto corrections. Pension3X Posted February 23, 2018 #21 Share Posted February 23, 2018 I just got off of the Ruby today as well. The embarkation was absolutely flawless. I have never seen an embarkation go so smoothly. was surprised to see that life vests are no longer needed for the muster drill. WE all nearly had to "muster" second night out when a woman went missing from Aloha deck. It took announcements ship wide every 15 minutes starting at @230AM before she was found. If she was not found I was told everyone was going to have to go to their muster stations so the entire ship could be searched!

coolcagolfer Posted February 23, 2018 #23 Share Posted February 23, 2018 No escape room. Food was good in dining room. Service at anytime dining was hit or miss. Best staff must be at fixed dining where they have opportunity for extra tips for good service.
