Gracie115 Posted June 15, 2018 #26 Share Posted June 15, 2018 Looking comfortable as only a young person can be in that position. ;p HA!!! Yes he does, but THAT's one of my favorite positions on a veranda too, and I don't qualify as a "young person!!!!":p :p

Rare cr8tiv1 Posted June 17, 2018 #34 Share Posted June 17, 2018 MUCH nicer than window suites on same ship. Agree...but much more expensive for the extra balcony space.
Rare Host CJSKIDS Posted June 17, 2018 #35 Share Posted June 17, 2018 Agree...but much more expensive for the extra balcony space. It's not just the balcony, they are very different staterooms. The bathrooms are technically 2 different bathrooms. There is the wet bar etc. I can't remember when the window suites were made on the ships. I'm sure someone on here remembers when they changed those cabins into the window suites.

There is the wet bar etc. I can't remember when the window suites were made on the ships. I'm sure someone on here remembers when they changed those cabins into the window suites. I also do not remember when, but they did not change cabins to be window suites. What they did when they relocated the casino was to change part of what was the casino into new cabins which were the window suites. And when they first came out on the two ships that have them, they were hard to sell. That is why current pricing is closer to mini-suite pricing than to full-suite-with-balcony pricing. Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted June 18, 2018 Author #47 Share Posted June 18, 2018 We arrived at the CB at 11:45 on the day of departure . There was a single line until security . After security there were 2 lines with nobody in the suites and elites line . After presenting our paperwork and passports we were told " Oh you have a suite , you are lucky " . The clerk then took us to a lady who walked us on the ship and to the Coral (Club Class ) dining room . After a good lunch , we went back to our suite since it was now after 1 pm and we were allowed in our cabins . We had heard before that we were allowed a complementary dinner and so we made reservations for that evening . The always entertaining safety drill was in the Club Fusion at 3 PM, no jacket required . It was there that we got our first look at our fellow passengers - a much younger , and more casual group than we had encountered on our previous Princess cruises . Afterward , we headed back to the cabin the for sail away . The 17th street bridge rises to the occasion . Pier 66 Toward the West we could see rain on the horizon And to our South , The Harmony of the Seas Tyler and Pat sailed on this mega ship last summer . Tyler also had his best friend and a full bed , so we think that he was missing it . A little after 4 we were under way , with escort .

Rare MicCanberra Posted June 18, 2018 #50 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Great shots. I think the Coast guard on the machine gun is a bit of overkill though, were there pirates around?.
