That Celebrity doesn't offer any extra perks for "suite life" on TAs...internet/prem bev/ and what have you... The normal suite perks apply; what does not usually apply on Transatlantic, relocation and some other cruises (as well as some discounted rates on regular cruises) is the Go Best promotion. Premium beverage package is a perk automatically included in Royal Suites and above; if booked in a lesser suite (i.e. Sky, Celebrity) and the Go Best promotion does not automatically come with your booking, then you would either need to purchase a package or pay-as-you-go when you are not inside Michael's Club. Since Michael's Club is open most of the time (and most staff there permit one to take drinks outside the club), for most people pay-as-you-go would be the better option (though there are exceptions based on what/how much/where one plans to drink). jelayne Posted July 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Yes. No perks on TA, TP or repo. In the past X has offered pre-paid gratuities on a TA when you book while on a TA. If you book a Royal Suite or a Penthouse suite those suites always come with a Premium Beverage package, unlimited internet & unlimited specialty restaurants. Not sure if that applies to Signature suites. But Sky Suites and Celebrity Suites don't get the beverage package, gratuities, internet or OBC on TA, TP & repo. We recently were in a suite with no perks. We used Michaels for drinks. We brought 2 bottles of wine on with us, purchased a 7 bottle wine package with OBC from our TA, had the bottle that is in the cabin went boarding and had a bottle gifted to us. That took care of wine with dinner.
NJ Gal Posted July 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Is there an Elite cocktail hour on TA?
WestLakeGirl Posted July 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2018 (edited) Yes there is, except for the first night and possibly one other if they have a Senior Officer party but they aren’t suite perks, you have to be Captains Club elite to attend Edited July 19, 2018 by WestLakeGirl

TeeRick Posted July 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 19, 2018 I could understand when TA's were less expensive that non-premium suites did not get the Go Best included. But the price of TA's is much higher now so they should be treated like other sailings IMO.
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 19, 2018 All Zeniths are also Elite Plus, all Elite Plus are also Elite. Thus Elite is sufficient for determining who is invited

If TA's are selling well without the perks at current pricing, it would be unwise (from a business perspective) for Celebrity to add them (without raising prices by the corresponding value of the perks). TeeRick Posted July 20, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Yes- understood. TA's have become quite popular and Celebrity can do whatever they want as a business. But other popular sailings like on Edge still offer the Go Best for suites.
Gracie115 Posted July 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 20, 2018 We book our TA's while ON a TA and on the one this past April we were given a $300 OBC and paid gratuities. Since we are Elite Plus not having unlimited internet wasn't important, the free minutes for Elite plus status are more than enough for us. So really the only perk we missed was the Beverage package and between Michael's Club, Elite Happy Hour and bringing a few bottles of wine on board we are fine..
