There has been a horrid loss of ilife and injjury from the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia this week. It seems the number of persons who lost their lives is so high, I saddens mew to think some of the lost may be loved ones of HAL Indonesian crew member.s. So hard for them to be so far from home and away form their e loved ones and homes at a time like this..

Our first thoughts when we heard about the disaster were for the crew members and their families. I wonder if any of them from Sulawesi are allowed to go home immediately.

Indonesia has had a horrible few months. My daughter was there for a month in the summer when the first few earthquakes hit.

 

Such kind people and my heart goes out to them.

While it's a blessing the crew members are spared the horrors of these disasters, it must be torture for them to be so far separated from those they love. I pray that the HAL crews' families are all okay.

Thoughts & prayers for the people of these islands. I sincerely hope the HA crew members' families/friends have been spared; however, with the staggering loss of life and the number of homeless, it would be a miracle if all of their families/friends remain unscathed. Tragic.
