Noise Issues?: We were directly under the pool and lido deck so at times you could hear the DJ

Wind Issues?: When out at see if they were at full steam this ship did rock quite a bit

Suite Details: Layout was great and the bathroom was much larger than expected. Closet space was a little lacking but suitcases did fit under the bed. Loved the pullout tables. Large flat screen TV was nice and the stateroom had plenty of room so you didn't feel cramped.

Advantages/Problems/Comments: Was good location to get around the ship. Just too close to the pool deck to get a little noise. Our stateroom attendant was amazing. He found out it was our anniversary and decorated the bed at turn down service with roses and towel swans.

Connecting Cabin? Yes; door inside cabin but we never heard noise from next door

Advantages/Problems/Comments: Long walk from elevators but that was ok. Deck 8 is too low over a public outside deck and many times we heard loud conversations late at night. Yes the cabin felt large due to there not being a real balcony. It got very hot because the a/c shuts off when the window is open. Liked the large window but did not like that the captain can lock it. It was locked at sailaway because it had rained earlier. Boooo! Also it is very private; when you stand at the open window, you cannot see any of your neighbors. But overall we did not like the Infinite Balcony cabin and would not book one of these again.

Wind Issues?: Only in that you can't sit on the balcony or in the room unless the balcony doors were completely locked, just shut still creates a strong whistling. Never encountered this on any other Celebrity class ship.

Connecting Cabin? Where Does it Connect?: none

Suite Details: Large living room, seperate bedroom, 2 entrances to bath, one from living area and one from bedroom, 2 large TV's. very nice room

Advantages/Problems/Comments: Bath/shower very tricky and only one half grab bar to hold onto in rough seas which we encountered for several days as we passed through the swells from 2 hurricanes north of us

Would You Book It Again?: Yes, we are...... in 3 weeks, same ship same type room.

The cabin was lovely. I cannot think of anything I would change, and the location was perfect for us as it is close to everything we enjoy - Cafe al Bacio, Martini Bar, Guest Relations, etc.

The cabin was noisy, especially at night due to outside forces. I had a very hard time sleeping with banging and wind noise from outside. The ship was fully booked so moving would not have been possible. Before booking the Edge, Apex, or Beyond again, I would check these boards for better cabin locations to avoid the noise.

Hi

I apologize as I haven't been on here in awhile but the spreadsheet used to be in numerical order so we could find the ship/cabin we were looking for.

I read somewhere the person that started this spreadsheet is no longer (which is a shame, I met her when we did the inaugural on the Edge) and it looks, to me, like the current postings are in no particular order?

So if we're looking for a specific cabin/catagory is there a way to search it out?

I go to the search option (upper right on my laptop) and enter a cabin number and search in this topic to find if there is any information on that cabin. Hope this helps.

Thank you although I still can't get it to work.

Have groups on a couple of cruises and always used this spreadsheet to get my choices lines up. I remember VTcruising when she first introduced this spreadsheet, we sailed together twice on Edge inaugurals. So very sad to hear of her passing, she was a fun and devoted cruiser to these ships!

Open the spreadsheet in your browser and click on the dropdown arrow in the C column (to the right of the C), then select sort A-Z and this will arrange the sheet in cabin order.

Balcony/Window View/Obstruction: Has a large, square orange column in front, aft corner (part of the Magic Carpet frame). We were not at all bothered by this.

Magic Carpet Issues?: No. Only saw Magic Carpet descend once.

Noise Issues?: Several hours of creaking/banging one evening of seven. Not an issue for us.

Wind Issues?: No.

Connecting Cabin? Where Does it Connect?: Connects in private corridor off main hallway. No connecting door within suite itself.

Suite Details: Suite is on the aft end of the block of four MC SS. In addition to the balcony opening facing the sea, it has a large fixed window facing aft.

Advantages/Problems/Comments: The balcony was furnished with two loungers, a small occasional table, and two chairs.

Would You Book It Again?: Yes, especially the ones at the ends. Has a lovely, large balcony, but we prefer the layout of the Sky Suites having beds facing the sea.

Location of the bed, closest to the window, is true to the deck plans you can see online and on the Celebrity site (denoted on deck plans as an indented space in the wall). On the port side, however, this means that you are lying backwards as you sail. This could be troublesome if you prefer to face forward when moving. The balcony furniture is a little oversized, so cramped if two people are standing outside. We constantly found ourselves rearranging the furniture. That said, the table and chairs are lightweight, durable, and easy to move.

Advantages/Problems/Comments: Had a large coffee table that was perfect for room service. We still have to put our plates in our laps but that didn’t bother us the few times we had room service.

Would You Book It Again?: Absolutely but we would book a regular Sky Suite. We never asked for an accessible cabin and didn’t need one.
