Flight home

We get off the getaway on Jan 13th. It says we arrive in Miami at 8 am I believe. What is the earliest flight home you think we would make?

11:30a,  is the best choice.

11:30 is fine. Self walk off will start around 7:30 (yeah,,, the official arrival time is 8:00). Do self walk off before the first color tags are called. Quick and easy.

11:30 is a better choice than 9:30. What airport you flying from Miami or FLL?

Mia is possible, even with self debarkation you wouldn't get to FLL until 8:45-9:00.

11:30 should be a very safe bet unless the ship is late to port for some reason. When I disembarked the Escape in Miami last February, we literally stayed on the ship until the very last minute they would let us (our flight wasn't until 3:45!) and we were still at the airport and through security by 10:30.

Barring ship arrival delays or customs issues, you can easily make 11.30 flight from MIA.  Just do self walkoff  and be one of the first to debark the ship.  FLL is a little more difficult since it's a 45 min. drive from the Port of Miami and long security lines at times, but still doable if things go as planned.

Unless the ship is some how delayed the 11:30 flight will not be an issue, and there is NO need to do self walk off, you can be one of the last ones off the ship and make an 11:30 flight. Don't kill yourself.

 

If the ship is delayed a 4:00 p.m. flight might be too early/ 🙂

I'd do the 11:30 so you're not rushed. We just did this earlier in the month; we were off the ship by 8:30 and at the airport by 9 or so. It was nice to just relax in a restaurant at the airport for a while before boarding the flight around 11.

If your flight isn't until 1:40, you can just stay on the boat until they physically kick you off. 😋
